FLY TESTIMONY -- PLEASE READ THIS FIRST Jason Upton and his band were engaged in concert/worship at a college auditorium in Alexandria, Louisiana, when a God incidence miraculously happen while Jason was totally consumed by the Holy Spirit, as so often he is. I'll summarize the testimony of Michael, a band member, below that I heard and watched on a video of his testimony on youtube: Michael, one of Jason's band members, was checking the sound tract equipment recording the concert, when he looked up at the ceiling and saw fog floating around. He figured it was the condenser in the air conditioner creating it. He turned around and asked the janitor what the stuff is floating around the ceiling. The janitor didn't know and stated that there are no pipes up there. A Holy fear came over Michael and immediately lead him to hide under the soundboard. He felt so much God that he knew something was going to come through. All of a sudden, a boy came to Michael while Mike was under the soundboard and, in a very loud voice, told Michael that there was a 12 foot angel with wings on the stage standing directly behind Jason. As I understand it, only the boy could see the angelic apparition. Mind you, also, that Michael or the band members were not singing, as one was under the soundboard and the other was on stage, but not singing himself. Jason was singing the prophecy the Holy Spirit was giving him, and thus, the gathering was not singing, as well. Michael came out from under the soundboard and looked at the recorder and it was clearly recording the vocal harmony, but only Jason was heard to be singing some words on stage that made no sense --"ahda daah (sp) (these words, however, did not come out on the segment played on the video...at least I can't hear them...I tend to be a little deaf, LOL) . Michael said to himself that if the harmony is on the recording when he plays it back, he was going to come out of his skin! He then look up at Jason and Jason's eyes were rolled back into his eye sockets, while teetering back and forth and totally caught up by the Spirit". After the concert/worship, Jason and Michael went back to the dorm for the evening, as Michael roomed with Jason. Jason, still feeling "in the Spirit" said that his body members felt very tingly. Michael said Jason was still high in the Spirit and laid on the bed with his clothing on and fell asleep for the night. The next morning Michael went back to Nashville and played the recording back. Low and behold, a perfect angelic harmonious voice came through and absolutely floored Michael! The engineer at the studio said he thought it was just a psycho acoustic anomaly and walk away, dismissing Michael's amazement. Mike told the engineer to come back and sort out all the channels, and sure enough, on one of the channels, the engineer said that it sounded like some 12 foot person was singing harmony behind Jason (of course the engineer did not know what he was saying at the time when he made the "12 foot" comment). Michael said to the engineer, "I knew it was an angel", laughing for Joy! Furthermore, come to find out, via later emails, "ahda daah' (sp) was the Malawi language for "Come to the Table"!

I hope to reach more who are in need of the message herein...those who are problemed, hurting, broken, unrested, depressed, fearful, strayed, those who never knew Him personally, etc. There are millions upon millions of them. I believe He wants me to let them know that He truly loves them so very much and has so many good things to give them that can only come from Him, free for the accepting. If there is only one who finds peace through this video, or any of my video creations, then I am blessed. So be it. For the purpose of this video, I only used the "Peace" portion of the following: Spontaneous Worship (Peace) by Jason Upton Bear in mind as you read the words that this is a spontaneous song in which Jason just sang what the Holy Spirit placed on his heart during worship. From Questions.org: "What does it mean that the church is the bride of Christ?" Answer: The imagery and symbolism of marriage is applied to Christ and the body of believers known as the church. These are those who have trusted in Jesus Christ as their personal savior and have received eternal life. In the New Testament, Christ, the Bridegroom, has sacrificially and lovingly chosen the church to be His bride (Ephesians 5:25-27). Just as there was a betrothal period in biblical times during which the bride and groom were separated until the wedding, so is the bride of Christ separate from her Bridegroom during the church age. Her responsibility during the betrothal period is to be faithful to Him (2 Corinthians 11:2). At the Second Coming of Christ, the church will be united with the Bridegroom, the official "wedding ceremony" will take place and, with it, the eternal union of Christ and His bride will be actualized (Revelation 19:7-9; 21:1-2). At that time, all believers will inhabit the heavenly city known as New Jerusalem, also called the holy city in Revelation 21:2 and 10. The New Jerusalem is not the church, but it takes on the churchs characteristics. In his vision of the end of the age, the Apostle John sees the city coming down from heaven adorned as a bride, meaning that the inhabitants of the city, the redeemed of the Lord, will be holy and pure, wearing white garments of holiness and righteousness. Some have misinterpreted verse 9 to mean the holy city is the bride of Christ, but that cannot be because Christ died for His people, not for a city. The city is called the bride because it encompasses all who are the bride, just as all the students of a school are sometimes called the school. As believers in Jesus Christ, we who are the bride of Christ wait with great anticipation for the day when we will be united with our Bridegroom. Until then, we remain faithful to Him and say with all the redeemed of the Lord, Come, Lord Jesus! (Revelation 22:20).

It is not the word I would have used, LOL, but it is used that way in many of the younger every day verbiage. Got Milk? :) Sometimes situations in our lives are not pretty and we feel like all we have left from them are ashes. Some of those times we need to sit a bit in ashes for our growth in the Lord. Some times in poetry it is hard to decipher what the poet is really saying. With some knowledge of church history and my researching on the net, I submit briefly what I believe Richard Thompson is saying in this spiritual poetry. Richard Thompson was writing about the medieval era Christians being persecuted for one's faith. Though now Islam, he wrote the poem when he was a Christian and from a Christian standpoint. We know that historically persicutions happened to many by many groups and denominations and within the denomination. Their idea was "If you don't agree with my spin on Christianity that makes you a heretic and therefore a candidate for torture, or worse, put to death for one's faith or belief." One has to remember that the times were very, very different then, and people certainly had a much, much different mindset than we have today. Somehow in many ways Jesus' concept of "Love thy neighbor" had gone out the window. Some say what they say about some in Islam, but study how Christians treated Christians who had a different view. We are not the Judge and there are no lawyers at the gates. Hopefully and thankfully we have grown and exercise more tolerance.

Amazing Grace, and that It is. But, God has more for you...His mercy, forgiveness, healing, deliverance, unconditional love and His plan for your life. All of this is 'amazing'. In this video, the song and I dwell on His amazing Mercy. God gives us what we do not deserve. A companion to His amazing grace is His mercy. Mercy is the act of God by which He withholds what we do deserve. We have sinned against God. We have violated His laws. We have earned the "wages of sin" which is death (Romans 6:23), and we are condemned already if we have not believed in the name of Jesus Christ as our Savior. We have rejected God's love and His Son, Who died for our sins. God has every right to judge us, find us guilty, sentence us to hell, and see to it that we suffer day and night forever. Daniel, the prophet, declares, "To the Lord our God belong mercies and forgivenesses, though we have rebelled against him" (Daniel 9:9). The evidence is against us; we have rebelled. We deserve judgment. But, mercy prevails and God withholds the punishment called for by our sin. Jeremiah expresses the same idea by saying, "It is of the LORD'S mercies that we are not consumed, because His compassions fail not" (Lamentations 3:22). By God's mercy He withholds His judgment upon our sin. From whom does He withhold the judgment? From us. Does God get no satisfaction for the wrongs done to Him? He gets full satisfaction, but upon a Substitute. He meted out His judgment of our sin upon his only begotten Son, the Lord Jesus Christ, Who "was made sin for us" and Who "bore our sins in His own body on the tree". Christ has died for us, in our place, paying our penalty, so that God can withhold from us our deserved judgment. Mercy avails for us and we go free the very moment we trust Jesus Christ as our personal Savior. Of course, we need to consciously walk and live our lives for Him. You see, then, mercy delivers you only if you receive Christ as your Redeemer. You must believe that He died for your sins, that He died in your place, to pay your penalty. Trusting nothing of your own position or effort, you must receive Jesus Christ, by faith, as your own personal Savior. Rejecting God's mercy allows sin, when it is finished, to bring forth death and God will not temper His judgment.

Stand firm and you will see the deliverance the LORD will bring you today. The Egyptians you see today you will never see again. 14 The LORD will fight for you; you need only to be still." David was the man whom God used to kill Goliath, writer of many of the psalms, the man who sinned so greatly, but repented so deeply, and the one whom Scripture calls "a man after God's own heart." Elishama means "God hears." Eliada means "God knows." Eliphalet means "God delivers." David is basically summing up his life and what he has learned in his relationship with God. It's a truth that is just as real today. God hears, God knows, and yes, God does deliver!

All we ever really need is God's unconditional and faithful love. Jesus already paid the price for our sinfulness on the cross on Calvery. John 3:16, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." God sacrificed His only Son so that we, who put our faith in His Son, will not spend eternity separated from Him. This is an amazing love, because we are the ones who choose to be separated from God through our own sin, yet it's God who mends the separation through His intense personal sacrifice, and all we have to do is accept His gift. God IS Love, and His love is very different from human love. God's love is unconditional, and it's not based on feelings or emotions. He doesn't love us because we're lovable or because we make Him feel good; He loves us because He IS love. He created us to have a loving relationship with Him, and He sacrificed His own Son (who also willingly suffered and died for us) to restore that relationship. "Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one who loves is born of God, and knows God. He who loves not knows not God; for God is love. In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him.This is love, not that we loved God, but that he first loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins. Mary is considered of such high favor with God and Elizabeth recognizes that she is special only because of Jesus. Mary was chosen to bear Jesus by God, so God singled her out from many, many other women on the planet. Elizabeth recognized that she was bearing the son of God and so recognized that she was special.Mary was not just as normal as you and me - she was highly favored by God and greatest of all women. Not too many people have angels coming in the middle of the night to proclaim such things to them so I would say that Mary is a tad more than ordinary. Why is Mary mentioned so much? Without Mary's free acceptance of her calling from God we would not have Jesus in human flesh. Also, the fact that Scripture refers to her in such a special way is good enough reason to talk about her. The frequency of the mention of Mary in any particular setting really depends on your perspective. In my experience Mary is not the core component of faith. The core of Catholicism is Jesus, not Mary. However, we cannot simply neglect Mary. She plays an integral role in the redemption of the world. She said yes, Jesus was born and we were redeemed (by Jesus of course). One cannot simply talk about Jesus without being grateful to his mother. Catholics do not put Mary on par with God; we just do a better job at recognizing the role she played in Christian history. Mary is certainly worthy of reverence, but not worship.The Hail Mary is not a prayer of worship, but it is a recitation of Scripture and then an asking of her to pray for us to God; much like asking our other Christian brothers and sisters to pray for us.

"For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God." -- 1 Cor 1:18 History: Early in the fourth century St. Helena, mother of the Roman Emperor Constantine, went to Jerusalem in search of the holy places of Christ's life. She razed the Temple of Aphrodite, which tradition held was built over the Savior's tomb, and her son built the Basilica of the Holy Sepulcher over the tomb. During the excavation, workers found three crosses. Legend has it that the one on which Jesus died was identified when its touch healed a dying woman. The cross immediately became an object of veneration. At a Good Friday celebration in Jerusalem toward the end of the fourth century, according to an eyewitness, the wood was taken out of its silver container and placed on a table together with the inscription Pilate ordered placed above Jesus' head: Then "all the people pass through one by one; all of them bow down, touching the cross and the inscription, first with their foreheads, then with their eyes; and, after kissing the cross, they move on." To this day the Eastern Churches, Catholic and Orthodox alike, celebrate the Exaltation of the Holy Cross on the September anniversary of the basilica's dedication. The feast entered the Western calendar in the seventh century after Emperor Heraclius recovered the cross from the Persians, who had carried it off in 614, 15 years earlier. According to the story, the emperor intended to carry the cross back into Jerusalem himself, but was unable to move forward until he took off his imperial garb and became a barefoot pilgrim. Comment: The cross is today the universal image of Christian belief. Countless generations of artists have turned it into a thing of beauty to be carried in procession or worn as jewelry. To the eyes of the first Christians, it had no beauty. It stood outside too many city walls, decorated only with decaying corpses, as a threat to anyone who defied Rome's authority—including Christians who refused sacrifice to Roman gods. Although believers spoke of the cross as the instrument of salvation, it seldom appeared in Christian art unless disguised as an anchor or the Chi-Rho until after Constantine's edict of toleration. Quote: "How splendid the cross of Christ! It brings life, not death; light, not darkness; Paradise, not its loss. It is the wood on which the Lord, like a great warrior, was wounded in hands and feet and side, but healed thereby our wounds. A Second Reading: Philippians 2:6-11 Though he was in the form of God, did not count equality with God a thing to be grasped, but emptied himself, taking the form of a servant, being born in the likeness of men. And being found in human form he humbled himself and became obedient unto death, even death on a cross. Therefore God has highly exalted him and bestowed on him the name which is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. Gospel Reading: John 3:16-18 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life. For God sent the Son into the world, not to condemn the world, but that the world might be saved through Him. He who believes in Him is not condemned; He who does not believe is condemned already, because He has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. Prayer: God our Father, in obedience to you your only Son accepted death on the Cross for the salvation of mankind. We acknowledge the mystery of the Cross on earth. May we receive the gift of redemption in heaven. We ask this through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen.

You are beautiful in God's eyes. The simple truth is...God loves YOU! He loves who you are today as much as when He created you. He loved you as you were being wounded and emotionally injured as a child growing up in this evil, hateful place. He loves you in the midst of hardship and while enduring injustices. God loved YOU before you ever took breath, before He even placed you in your mother's womb. From the moment His thoughts created and formed you in His mind—YOU were loved! With an incomparable passion that remains— unchanged! So why is the simple unbelievable? Because we've lived all our life believing we are not enough—not good enough, not smart enough, not pretty enough, not worthy enough. Experiences assault our worth. Injustices leave scars. In competition and comparison we often fail. And when we are hurting or when we fall short we listen to the Adversary's lies. God's character and His promises are as unending as they are unbending! They will not change on account of you, my friend! You are lavishly loved while being purposely pursued! And that is the simple—yet amazing—truth! YOU are...BEAUTIFUL!
