It contains over 90 different healthy substances like lots of potassium, magnesium, phosphorus, copper, calcium, B vitamins and even bioflavonoids. Potassium is one of the most important minerals because it promotes cell growth and replaces dead cells. It keeps fluid in our cells. Bacteria need moisture to love, so they suck fluids from our cells, especially when we are stressed because resistance is low then. That’s one of the reasons small problems can turn into full blown illness and disease. When there’s enough potassium in our cells, it will draw moisture from the harmful bacteria instead of the harmful bacteria taking moisture from us. Where do you get potassium? Fresh fruits and vegetables, berries, sprouts, leaves, roots and apple cider vinegar. But the the part most of you will want to hear is that apple cider vinegar burns fat. …and it cleans a fatty liver (which most people have) with its main ingredient, acetic acid. Acid is also needed to absorb protein, minerals, calcium, iron, B vitamins and pretty much all of out nutrients. To help lose weight, take apple cider vinegar before each meal (like 2 teaspoons in half a glass of water) because it stimulates the thyroid and helps stomach acid. Maybe add a bit of ginger and lemon too. Wheat products on the other hand SOAK up stomach acid thus lowering it, creates potassium deficiency, high blood pressure, high blood sugar and wheat products are high glycemic. Apple cider vinegar is one of the best things you can take for cramps, eye twitching, nerve pain, arthritis, high blood pressure, constipation, stiffness- if you feel stiff or have pain, drink ACV- it helps absorb and dissolve calcium. High protein diets create waste product called GUANIDINE, which creates twitching, nerve pain, arthritis, and apple cider vinegar helps flush out that nasty guanidine. Research performed at Tokyo University in Japan, discovered that the acetic acid found in vinegars inhibits the activity of carbohydrate-digesting enzymes, including sucrase, mastase, lactase and amalase. This inhibition results in select sugars and starches passing through the digestive system without being digested, having less impact on blood sugar levels. Researchers at Arizona State University surveyed people afflicted with type 2 diabetes. They found that taking two tablespoons of apple cider vinegar right before bed lowered the blood sugar levels by 4 to 6 percent by the next morning. Another study led by Dr. Johnston at ASU gave subjects, some with insulin resistance and some without, 20 grams of apple cider vinegar and 40 grams of water. Results showed that the after-meal blood sugar levels of the subjects with insulin resistance was 34 percent lower when they drank apple cider vinegar. Of course not eating meat and dairy anymore and cutting out refined carbs and sugars would actually get rid of diabetes, but who wants to do that, right? People just want to take some magic stuff to make their problems go away. But apple cider vinegar is an amazing health helper for those people who really want some help cleaning up the mess they created in their bodies. You can wash your hair with it- its both shampoo and conditioner in one. That’s what I do a lot. Who needs shampoo and conditioner when you have this. It helps remove sun spots and age spots. Its great for digestive issue, allergies, sinus infections, acne, cholesterol, chronic fatigue, sore throats, memory, dermatitis and other skin problems, ear infections, dandruff, athletes foot, insect bites, weight loss, blood pressure, heart pain, it helps remove poisons, heck you can even feed it to your pets to help control fleas, ticks and give a beautiful shine to their coats! Its great for candida because acid shuts off the Candida growth gene. Of course you still have to stop eating the bread, bagels, pasta, chips and sugar! Take apple cider vinegar with water or make salad dressings with it. Drizzle it over your food. Put a spoonful in your smoothies. Try not to drink it straight because acid melts teeth, so always drink water afterwards. All kinds of books have been written about the healing powers of apple cider vinegar. I put it on everything. Acid shuts off the yeast growth gene, and since the colon is naturally acidic, the yeast is asleep and no problem. This is how things are supposed to be. Things get out of control though when people start eating bread, pasta, sugar, milk and cooked food because refined carbs all become sugar that feeds the yeast (Candida) which makes it grow like crazy into a monster. It grows so fast the probiotics can't control it anymore, and the yeast then starts eating the probiotics! Now the immune system gets weak, nutrients don't get absorbed well anymore and disease starts setting in. The yeast grows so strong, it mutates into a more agressive fungal form, grows tentacles called hyphae which burrow through the intestinal tract creating leaky gut sybdrome where undigested proteins enter the bloodstream creating all kinds of autoimmune disorders. Not a pretty picture. Ok. So the first step is obviously to stop the addiction to wheat, sugar, dairy and cooked foods. But what about all that yeast? Our soldiers are being overwhelmed by the enemy! Is there a way to help set things right again? Yes. Enter the enema bag! All you're doing is washing out your large intestine with water. Sure you will be washing out some probiotics. But remember, if you are a typical person eating modern refined sugary cooked crap, there is 5 times more yeast in there than probiotics and you need to level the playing field. Enemas wash out the bulk of what's in there, so when the powerwashing is done, there is just a bit of yeast left and a bit of probiotics. Now the playing field is level again. 50-50. The odds are fair again. So now the question is- who are you going to feed? The yeast or the probiotics? One thrives on plant fiber, the other thrives on sugar, bread, cooked food and dairy. Your choice. You can't sneak in a bit of bad stuff thinking no one will notice. It will instantly feed the yeast -literally within minutes! Cooking breaks down fiber into sugar so keep that in mind when eating plant food. Don't starve your probiotics by cooking so much. Eat more salads or make more smoothies (fiber is still primarily intact in smoothies- it's high heat from cooking that breaks it down) So the lesson for today is to not fear enemas. Taking probiotics after doing enemas helps to replenish the good guys. The best kinds are liquid non-dairy probiotics like coconut kefir etc. Many of the dry powders are dead. Vitamin B12 – What Causes B12 Deficiency & Good B12 Sources
What is vitamin B12, where do you get it and what depletes it? What are the best sources of vitamin B12? If you got a blood test and they told you your B12 was low, it doesn’t mean anything. Serum B12 levels do not reflect true B12 levels since most B12 in the body is stored in the liver and blood tests do not determine stored B12 levels.  B12 is stored in the body for years and years and the odds are that in that time, you will accumulate more B12. thehealthylife.com Vitamin B12 is basically bacteria poop. In the natural world, (the way we were designed to live), you would pull a carrot out of the ground, brush it off and eat it. There would be little bits of dirt and millions of microscopic organisms all over that carrot. B12! Do you actually think in the 5-7 years B12 stays in your body, you are not going to be exposed to some dirt and bacteria? Heck, even your own gut bacteria, (your probiotics) produce some B12. They say vegetarians and vegans need to supplement B12 because they don’t eat meat. That’s another joke. 90 percent of America is meat eaters and 60 percent of America is deficient in B12, … so how come half the meat eaters are low in B12? Well lets look at why meat eaters sometimes have more B12. It’s not rocket science. Meat is rotting flesh. There’s a lot of nasty bacteria in meat. The minute anything is killed- plant or animal, it starts to decay. Decaying meat requires more aggressive and dangerous bacteria than plants. If you lived in nature only eating plants, you’d be getting more than enough B12. There’s even some B12 in my green formula. Seaweed is a great source of B12. Those of you who get my Sea Moss, haha- what an experience when you open that bag huh? All dirty and smelly. What a nasty fishy smell. That’s what stuff is like when you take it fresh right out of the ocean. It’s FULL of B12. Even after washing and soaking it multiple times, there is still B12 stuck in the tiny pores. There’s B12 in nutritional yeast, even kale and farm produce that still has some dirt stuck in the cracks. Remember also, you have 5 pounds of beneficial bacteria in your gut which also produces some B12. You can feed them and make them stronger by eating more fiber- that's what they love to eat. Then there’s fermented and cultured foods- a GREAT source of B12. Every little bit adds up. And since it stays in your body for years, odds are you are getting enough B12. Now it’s possible that you may actually be low in B12. So the REAL question isn’t “where do I get B12”,…it should be “what’s robbing me of B12 and how can I stop it?” The answer to all of your health issues should not be “what do I take” but “what do I STOP doing that’s causing the problem in the first place”, otherwise you are simply trying to patch holes in a sinking ship. The first place to look is your stomach. B12 is acid dependent for absorption. Older people have B12 issues not because they don’t have enough B12 in their body, but because it can’t ABSORB properly because stomach acidity declines with age. Bread, bagels and other wheat products absorb stomach acid like a sponge. They also turn into simple sugars which feeds candida yeast and H Pylori which radically deplete stomach acid. Antacids, baking soda and alkaline water cancels out stomach acid. Most people have low stomach acid as a result from not knowing what and how to eat.  Almost everybody, even raw foodists are sugar addicts and they choose what to eat based on how it tastes, not what they really need, resulting in a body that doesn't work right. Ok, anyway, if you want B12 to absorb, you need strong stomach acid for for that you need to cut down on bread and sugar and start adding more bitter things to your diet. You can rebuild stomach acid by using more acids in your diet like apple cider vinegar, lemon etc, and also sea salt, B-complex vitamins and 50 mg zinc with meals, plus bitter greens like arugula, endives, watercress etc and also my liver formula.  Do NOT drink alkaline water! This speeds up the whole mess of weakening stomach acid, nutrient absorption, lower B12 etc. Another thing that lowers stomach acid is adrenal burnout, the biggest factors being stress and stimulants- coffee, energy drinks, sugar, stuff like that. You can strengthen your adrenals with adaptogenic herbs like licorice root, ashwagandha, schizandra berry, astragalus, jiaogulan, nettle leaf and alma berry. You can get your own or simply get my Adrenal kit where I put the herbs together for you. As B12 pills go, sublingual methylcobalamin is the kind you want, not cyanocobalamin. Sure you can pop a B12 pill. But listen to what I’m saying. Simply taking a pill is not going to necessarily make you any better if you don’t stop doing what’s causing the problem in the first place! Stop trying to hide symptoms and get rid of the cause.
