Come costruire un Brand con le PR - "Il primo modo per scatenare le PR a costo zero all'interno della mia azienda è utilizzare, per esempio, un sistema aziendale per la generazione di referrals. Referrals in Italia sarebbe referenze. Non sarebbe proprio la traduzione esatta; diciamo referenze perchè è il termine italiano, così ci capiamo al volo. Referenza è un cliente che dice a un suo amico, collega o conoscente: "usa il prodotto o il servizio di Mario, di Frank, di Giovanni, perchè è molto buono. Questo è il concetto. Questo è PR al massimo livello. Noi abbiamo sistemi, all'interno delle nostre aziende, per spremere le referenze. Non è una cosa casuale: serve un sistema installato all'interno dell'azienda con un calendario, per andare a spremere le referenze ai clienti. Problema delle referenze in Italia? E' SEMPRE un problema di brand. Tutto nasce dal brand. Se voi non partite dalla focalizzazione, se non focalizzate la vostra offerta, allora non potete avere un sistema per le referenze. Se non riuscite a fare una promessa e mantenerla, allora è inutile. Questo è marketing a risposta diretta fatto in Italia, lo facciamo noi. E funziona. Così si costruisce un Brand con le PR. Problema: se tu sei troppo generico, fai troppa roba, hai la sindrome dell'azienda cazzara italiana, allora non riesci a fare nemmeno le PR. Noi abbiamo il problema di dover fatturare, quindi l'ordine in azienda è: intanto prendi gli ordini. Solo che tu prendi l'ordine, la tua azienda fa troppa roba, non ha processi, non è specializzata in nulla, e quindi mi consegni la roba sempre male o sempre in ritardo, o sempre con dei problemi attaccati perchè bisogna fatturare. Tu non sei specializzato in quella roba li. Abbiamo questa concezione stupida che dobbiamo dire che sappiamo fare tante cose anche se siamo 5 stronzi in azienda. Allora qual è il problema? Che voi sbagliate costantemente, perchè non c'è nessuna promessa aziendale. Le promesse vengono sempre disattese. Quindi nessuno spenderà mai la sua parola per voi. Quindi in Italia volendo fare tutto per tutti perchè pensi di poter avere più opportunità per vendere, la prendi in quel posto; perchè nessuno si spenderà mai per te. Mai. E quindi la PRIMA REGOLA del marketing, se volete stare in piedi, è: essere delle persone oneste, rispettare la parola data. Rispettare la parola data è la prima regola del marketing. Se rispetti la parola data, e ce li metti di tuo se la parola non viene rispettata, allora la gente ti dà le referenze. Quindi hai clienti gratis, e non hai bisogno tutte le volte di sostenere il costo di acquisizione cliente con il marketing a riposta diretta o con qualunque altro tipo di marketing. Se tu non rispetti la parola data il grosso problema è che dovrai sempre, sempre, sempre, partire da zero, sobbarcarti il costo di acquisizione dei clienti e comunque lavorare con clienti che non sono buoni quanto un cliente che mi ha mandato una persona che è già un mio fan, una persona che sta lavorando con me." ******************************************************************* “Hai un business o ne vuoi costruire uno da zero? When it comes to any type of communication, digital or otherwise, measurement and evaluation has always been a thorny issue. Stephen Sandmann, Senior SEO Strategist at digital agency Quirk, says that progress has been made with regards to establishing a global framework and best practices. “The major Public Relations authorities across the world recently held a series of meetings to discuss an international framework for gauging and measuring communication performance,” he explains. The latest meeting produced the Barcelona Principles 2.0, which Sandmann says ‘really gives us international validation’ for a new type of Digital Marketing which is currently being rolled out to clients. “They emphasised that it’s not about Advertising Value Equivalents (AVEs) anymore, it’s all about having measurable performance and integration,” he says. “That’s where key elements such as website engagement, social media engagement, conversations, etc., come into play…and the ability to combine that into a standalone digital ecosystem. This is what is being encouraged as the future of global practice.” What’s unique about the approach to measurement at Quirk, notes Sandmann, is that the agency feeds in information and data from BrandsEye, an ORM tool. “We use this tool to scan the Internet - from websites and blogs to social media - to gather intelligence around what consumers are saying,” he explains. “We segment that data, and then feed it into our digital ecosystem. We can then communicate effectively with our target market, and achieve high engagement rates with very little wastage.” He notes that this information can then be fed into systems for above-the-line communication as well, ‘so that marketing messages are on point.’

This video is a typical day for me with work and I wanted to bring you guys along for my job. So many of you ask me about what my job is, how I make money, how I buy my clothes etc so I thought I would just show you everything! A lot of times brands will hire me to create images for their social media. Think of it as being a creative director / photographer / prop stylist all in one. So that was the job you see me shooting in this video! I also bring you guys with me to PR firms to pull clothing for shoots. Brands will pay to be in PR firms so they get press for their new products. Stylists can pull from PR firms for shoots, PR firms will gift clothing to celebrities / influencers etc [like anytime you see Gigi or Kendall wearing a brand like Alo Yoga... 90 percent of the time it was gifted to them by a PR firm] I go to PR firms to pull clothing when I have shoots because that way I can use new product / new clothing that is available in case people like it and and want to recreate the look. It's helpful to PR firms because they get the press for the brand, and it's helpful to whoever is getting the clothing because then they don't have to pay for a brand new outfit to only wear once. Ive gotten a lot of questions about the process of eyelash extensions: do eyelashes extensions ruin your eye lashes, are eyelashes extensions worth it etc. I LOVE mine and have been doing them for the last two years!
