Go to a high end store and touch the luxury ties. Worth every penny imo. Even if you gotta wear the same tie every single day... it's worth the investment.

So you can wear bow ties with most typically with wing collars. That works well with tuxedos, but we don't see too many people wearing it nowadays. People wear bow ties with small spread collars, and I think that's how they look best. So let's go back to how to tie the bow tie. So the way you want to start is to have the right hand, depending if you're right-handed or left-handed, whichever is more convenient for you. One hand is going to be longer than the other than the other one. You don't want, depending on the kind of finish you have on your bow tie, you might want to adjust the length so that you have enough width to tie the knot and make it easy for yourself. So this is where you start. The right end should be slightly longer, because I'm right-handed. You go over the shorter end. Pull it out under. That's step one. And you don't worry about the longer side. So once you're in this position, it's pretty much like tying a shoelace. So what you want to do is bring up the shorter side sideways like this. Pull down the longer part over, and it would be the middle of the knot. And now all you have to do is fold the part in your right hand and slide it inside the loop that you created. And then you just gently tighten the knot, and it's like magic. The knot stops, too. You just pull on different ends, the ones that are opposed to each other. So if you're pulling the back end with your right hand, you want to pull the front end with your left hand. And then you start adjusting the knot and making it however fluffy you like to to be. And that's how you tie a bow tie. Pretty easy, isn't it?

I'm Charles from Louis Purple, and today I'm going to teach you how to tie a Windsor knot. The Windsor knot is actually a very simple knot to tie, and it's very useful because it projects confidence. So it's a wide, triangular knot that's very suitable for presentations, job interviews, or cultural appearances, which I hope you don't frequent too often. So this is how you start. You just find the right balance depending on the length of your tie, with the wide end on the right hand side and the narrow end on the left. You might want to adjust exactly where the center of the tie should be at in the middle of your neck. So this is how you start. You cross over the wide end over the narrow end. You bring the wide end through the loop between the collar and the tie. And you bring the wide end back down. Then you just pull the wide end underneath, and then bring it up through the loop again in order to have a symmetrical shape, which should look like this. And you're almost done. There's only the easy part left and the most rewarding. Pull the wide end in front. Bring the wide end underneath, and then slide it inside the loop and tie it in the knot. You draw the knot up in order to fit your collar. So it's a knot that's really suitable for widespread collars. And as I said, then you can just adjust and tighten how big of a knot you like to obtain. This is how you tie a Windsor knot.

Check out our video on how to tie a tie using a Half Windsor knot: https://youtu.be/7GuLGzK9MlE If you're looking for something quicker and easier, try how to tie a tie using the Four-in-hand knot: https://youtu.be/-syZ_H6iec0 If you found this helpful, please feel free to like, subscribe or share this video. Thanks for watching. -- TRANSCRIPT Hi there, I’m going to show you one of the most popular ways to tie a tie – using the Windsor knot – also known as the Double Windsor or the Full Windsor. Start with your collar up and the tie around your neck. If you are right handed, hold the wide end of the tie in your right hand and the narrow end of the tie in your left hand. Now, it is important to remember that the longer you make the wide end, the lower the tie will hang when you are finished. Basically, you want to line up your tie like this. If you remember this, you will save yourself a lot of time later on. Now cross each end over – wide end over the top – and leave about this much on the narrow end. That is about four inches or ten centimetres. With your left hand, take the wide end of the tie. Thread it through the back of this opening from behind. Thread it all the way through, like this. Now take the wide end of the tie, and with your left hand, wrap it all the way around the back like this. Switch hands. Notice here how the back of the tie is facing outward. Taking the wide end, now, in your right hand, thread it through the front of this opening. Alright! The hardest part is now done; the rest is easy! What you can see here is the inside of your knot. It should look a bit like a triangle. Put your left index finger on the knot, like this, and keep it there. With your other hand, wrap the wide end around the knot, from right to left – and then grab it from behind. Keep your index finger where it is. With your right hand, push the wide end through this opening again – from the back. Alright, here comes the punch-line! Your index finger has created a little tunnel. What you need to do now is thread the tie down through the tunnel. The last step now is to adjust and tighten it – alternating between the long end and the short end of the tie – gradually pulling the knot up – shaping it as you go – until the tie is just how you want it to be – a sharp, symmetrical, triangular knot. Pull your collar down – and bingo! – a full Windsor knot. Thank you for watching. I hope you found this helpful. -- Music: Strut Funk by Dougie Wood (Source: YouTube Audio Library)

I was asked to do a comparison of The Dark Knot and The Tie Bar to see which was the better deal, and I decided to add another contender to the group: Ties.com. Knowing what makes a good tie can be confusing, after all they're not the simplest of garments! In the end my recommendation is always go with the best you can afford, if that means you can get a couple of ties from Ties.com for $20 then go for it. Don't expect heirloom quality out of a $20 tie, but you can expect it to be a workhorse and not to have a heart attack if you spill coffee on it. I'd suggest getting several staples: pin dots, paisley, stripes, and a few solids to get you started, then invest in some high quality pieces. The Dark Knot, The Tie Bar, and Ties.com have their place, but it depends on your existing wardrobe and your budget. www.NewEnglandStyleConsulting.com [email protected]

Are Hermès ties really worth it? Find out here https://gentl.mn/is-it-worth-it-hermes Also, stay tuned for our guide on how to spot a fake Hermès tie. Navy and Yellow Shadow Stripe Ribbed Socks - https://gentl.mn/2xBURVF More of our IS IT WORTH IT Series, here: https://gentl.mn/2JhCF8u #hermes #ties #isitworthit In a world of iconic menswear, men's ties are certainly up there with the Burberry trench coat which by the way, you want to know if a Burberry trench coat is worth it or not , please check out this video here. Generally, you know you're doing something right even an entire industry is here to fake your products and that's the case with Hermès ties. Finding a used one is almost like a gamble if you don't know what to look for and stay tuned for another video where we discuss how you can identify a fake Hermes tie from a genuine one. For this video, we'll assume you buy one directly from Hermes so you know what you get is the real deal. In the US, Hermes ties have a price tag of a $180. In Europe, it's a little less. In Australia, it's a little more but overall, it's right around that price point. So are Hermès ties worth it? Of course, the answer is it depends! If you're someone who really likes printed whimsical motifs, these little animal prints then Hermès is definitely the way to go. Also, if you're looking for more unusual colors such as fuchsia ties or chartreuse green maybe some orange tones, Hermès will likely have a shade that you can get. Also, if you're a Wall Street banker or if you work in finance and you want to fit in with your company culture, an Hermès tie is certainly the way to do that. That being said, personally, I'm not a big fan of whimsical motifs on ties and I prefer different textures so Hermès ties are not the ideal tie for me. I have a bunch of them including vintage ones and new ones but frankly, I don't wear them a whole lot anymore. The ones I wear the most are probably the woven ties, they are somewhat simple and don't look like a typical Hermès tie. With many other luxury products, you pay a lot for the name but you get average to mediocre quality. On the other hand with an Hermès tie, you certainly pay for the name but you also get a quality product. On top of that, genuine Hermès ties usually yield quite high prices even when they're used. Of course, they have to be in pristine condition which ties rarely are if you actually wear them and on top of that, you have to prove that it's actually a genuine product which can be very hard unless you have the specific receipt with a photo of the tie. Of course, if you give all the Hermès ties you don't want any longer to a store, they have to mark them up and ultimately, you don't get much for used Hermes ties anyways. Also if you're shorter than 6 foot or 183 centimeters, Hermes ties may be too long for you and all you can do is tie a really big knot which may often not work with your head size. Also if you're really a tall man and you want more variety in your ties, Hermès is not the right place for you. I also think they're not worth buying used unless you know very well what you're doing, otherwise you may pay top dollar for what turns out to be a fake. Personally, I also like ties to have different widths, my favorite width is about nine centimeters or three and a half inches, and it's not a niche served by Hermes at all. Building up an entire Hermes tie collection can be rather expensive. If you buy 12 ties you're already down more than $2,000. Now they certainly use high quality materials including their silk but when I was looking for silks for our Fort Belvedere ties, I met Weavers who would actually produce jacquard woven silks for Hermes and we get ourselves from the same vendor at the same quality standards yet Fort Belvedere ties cost a lot less especially if you buy more and get the volume discount. Hermes on the other hand doesn't offer any volume discount. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Want to stay updated? For starters, a collection of terracotta sculptures discovered in 1974 in Xian, China gives insight into the style worn by Chinese soldiers over a thousand years ago. China’s first emperor, Qin Shih Huang, wanted his army to be buried with him as his guardians in the afterlife. Lucky for all the soldiers involved, his advisers convinced him instead to have life sized replicas of his troops made to be used as his protectors throughout eternity. Dark Grey Socks with Burgundy and White Clocks in Cotton: https://gentl.mn/2fe1ecu So what eleven bow ties should be part of every dapper gentleman's wardrobe? One, the black silk bow tie. I think every man should have at least one black bow tie in silk because chances are you'll be invited to a tuxedo event; maybe it's a wedding, maybe a gala, maybe a formal evening event, and without it, you simply don't fit in and it's bad because you don't adhere to the dress code. The second bow tie you should invest in is a navy one with white polka dots. Winston Churchill famously wore it, the tea magnate, Lipton and had one, and it's just one of those all-time classics that works well with dark suits as well as sport coats, tweed coats, or any other sport coat combination, and casual outfits. The third bowtie you should invest in is a red silk micro pattern bowtie. It can be small dots it can be a larger pattern, maybe a diamond pattern, but red is just one of those colors and menswear that combines extremely well with any kind of dark suit. The fourth bow tie you should invest in is the Prince of Wales check tie. The Prince of Wales check pattern is a very classic pattern you can find it in suits, you can find it in neckties, sometimes pocket squares, and even socks. In case you want a larger pattern, I suggest you go with bowtie number five which is a houndstooth bowtie which is part of a Prince of Wales check but this one is just uniform, it's larger, and here you can see it in Silke bourette which is a thicker yarn, it has a different twist, it is a madder silk and therefore really well-suited to any kind of tweed outfit, maybe any kind of rustic outfit, anything with more texture basically. The sixth bow tie you should invest in is a yellow bow tie. Ideally, you go with something in a pale tone simply because it combines better with traditional men's suit and sport coat colors because when you go too bright, it just stands out too much and it's harder to combine because it's a higher contrast. The seventh bow tie you should invest in is a green bow tie. I think Green is one of the most underrated colors in menswear and we even did an entire video about that so please check that out because green is so versatile for bowties. I think for fall/winter, a darker green such as the British racing green or a bottle green is perfect. For spring/summer, a lighter green such as olive, or a maybe linen green, is perfect. the eighth bowtie you should invest in is a striped bowtie. Traditionally, you have the repp stripe bow tie just like the one here with a red and blue stripe but that is quite good for traditional preppy outfits. The ninth bowtie you should invest in if you live in any kind of warmer climates or if you go to warmer climates, is a linen bow tie. Sometimes blended with silk or wool, it just has a very summery character. The tenth bow tie you should invest in is a Paisley bow tie. Paisley is an all-time classic, it's a pattern derived from India. It has been revived and reused in menswear and interior design over and over again. The eleventh bow tie you should invest in is a velvet bow tie. The velvet fabric is very unique in a sense that it has a long nap because basically it is woven and then cut in the middle so it's very different than other kinds of fabrics and it's actually a relative of the corduroy fabric. #Bowties #neckwear #notsponsored -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Most Popular videos: How to accept a compliment - https://youtu.be/_EKXNmM1PUo 101 things that change when you dress up - https://youtu.be/JyGDd_iYaCI How to tie a Bow Tie - https://youtu.be/2I3cfa0BOOc --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Want to stay updated? Want to learn more about knit ties? Check out our guide here: https://gentl.mn/knit-tieguide Get the accessories I'm wearing: Knit Tie in Solid Tobacco Brown Silk: https://gentl.mn/2lJH5bY Burgundy Silk Pocket Square with little Paisley Motifs: https://gentl.mn/2l2PjwL Yellow Buttercup Mini Boutonniere Buttonhole Flower: https://gentl.mn/2lJJpzS 00:00 Introduction 00:20 Knit Tie Qualities 01:20 How Knit Ties are made 02:08 Tie Knot for Knit Ties 02:37 Style tips 05:10 Knit Tie materials 07:30 Knit Tie storage Knit ties come in two basic qualities: soft and crunchy. Soft knit ties, as you can see here have a really smooth feel. They're very soft and they work well with casual outfits. On the other hand, crunchy knit ties are stiffer, they're not as smooth and when you pinch them in your hand, you can hear the cry of the silk, which is why they're called the cri de la soie. It's actually being made on a hundred-year-old machine that was originally used for sock making. Soft Knit ties, on the other hand, are made in an entirely different way. They are knit like modern socks in a round machine where you cannot see any seam in the back. TIE KNOT. Personally, I always suggest to wear just one knot which is the four in hand knot. Simply because knit ties are thicker than regular ties and if you choose anything else, your knot gets really big and chunky. STYLE TIPS. Originally, knit ties were casual, they were very informal and nobody would ever wear them with a suit however, today, you can wear them in any way, shape or form you desire. On the other hand if you want to wear a suit, I would opt for solid knit ties that are a little stiffer because it just gives the whole outfit a different dimension and you can even wear them with a business pinstripe suit. Today, I'm wearing a cri de la soie crunchy silk knit tie from Fort Belvedere and I chose it because my jacket had beige tones, is a worsted fabric which is a little bit more formal than let's say a tweed. It has peaked lapels which is also more formal than a notched lapel and this is double breasted which is more formal than a single breasted jacket. And so, I opted for the crunchy version and in brown it harmonizes well but provides enough contrast. Because the cri de la soie knit ties are stiffer, you can do things like popping your tie knot a little bit so it stands up and gives you a different look. Overall, you can wear knit ties with any kind of outfit today unless you're wearing traditional morning wear or evening wear such as a tuxedo or white tie. Do not wear knit ties with those combinations. Tie bars and clips are sometimes a little bit more difficult to use with knit ties simply because they are so thick. If you want to use an accessory like a bar or a clip, I suggest you take the clips 'cause they give you more room to actually get underneath the shirt and over the tie without destroying the tie. MATERIALS. Most knit ties today are made of silk for various reasons. One, silk has a beautiful luster so it looks great. Two, it really feels nice in your hand and it has the right kind of consistency for the drape and it's just overall a great fiber that's very durable. Another popular material for knit ties is wool or cashmere. It's very soft but due to its consistency and feel, it's really only suited for fall winter outfits. Lately, we've also seen blends such as linen cotton blends, linen and wool, linen and silk. Overall, I would say only use these materials during spring summer season. The texture of knit ties is similar to grenadine ties however, it's even more pronounced and different so if you want to add another dimension to your outfits, go with knit ties with a strong texture. One thing that;s very important for knit ties is the width. If you wear skinny lapels, you want a skinny knit tie. If you want wider lapels like this one, you'll want the wider knit tie. Also, keep in mind that knit ties are straight so if you have a seven centimeter knit tie, it's as wide on top as a nine-centimeter regular tie. Just keep that in mind when you pick the right widths for your lapels. STORAGE. There are two ways to store your knit ties. One is to take your knit tie to simply roll it up and store it like this.Personally, I roll up all of my knit ties after I've worn them for about a day. Once the day has passed, I unroll them and just hang it on my rack like so. ======================================= Gentleman's Gazette https://gentl.mn/1P2VRI5 https://www.gentlemansgazette.com/ Facebook: https://www.Facebook.com/gentlemansgazette Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/gentlemansgazette/ FREE EBOOK: https://gentl.mn/1TGtaCN

Find out why knit ties are a must have in every dapper man's wardrobe: https://gentl.mn/ways-to-wear-knit-ties Other GUIDES mentioned: 10 Items of Clothing Every Man Should Own - https://gentl.mn/2AEtmPK The Sweater Guide - https://gentl.mn/2AkUuio Flannel Guide - https://gentl.mn/2zbhvpU SHOP THE VIDEO: 1. Pink and Grey Shadow Stripe Ribbed Socks - https://gentl.mn/2nWn0Ft A knit tie is something most men are not always familiar with. Most men know regular neckties, 3-fold neckties with a pointed tip, on the other hand, a traditional knit tie is flat at the bottom because that's the way it's knitted and it's also straight on the sides, that means the top of the tie is as wide as the bottom. Why you should wear a knit tie and what it can do for you. A knit tie has a fantastic texture. By that, I mean it's three-dimensional when you look at it but also when you touch it because of that, it is less formal and it's more casual and therefore, it's very well suited for most outfits today which are not super formal but more casual and relaxed. Because they're made from a high twisted silk yarn that really crunches when you touch it, it won't wrinkle at all so it's a perfect tie for travel or if you are prone to just throwing your ties somewhere and not storing them properly. Three, a knit tie is different and sets you apart. Even though knit ties are popular with well-dressed gentlemen today, I would say the general public or the average Joe is not quite familiar with knit ties and so if you wear one, it automatically makes you stand out in a sophisticated subtle way. The fourth reason you should invest in knit ties is because they're so versatile. They can be worn with a formal business suit and because of its more relaxed character, they bring down the formality, at the same time, they can be worn with regular sport coats. Five outfit categories and ways you can incorporate knit ties into your outfits: Business suits Most men wear regular neckties with them, however, a knit tie can add an element of texture to it, especially if you have a solid business suit in charcoal or navy. Another easy color to combine with blue suits is brown and therefore, a tobacco brown knit tie is also a great investment, at the same time, you can wear it with a lot of items in your casual wardrobe. So definitely a good tie to have in your tie closet. Blazers No matter if you wear with chinos or maybe flannel pants in off-white, and therefore, the knit tie ties everything well together. If you like it bolder, you can go with your navy blazer and maybe a striped shirt and a magenta colored knit tie especially with a two-tone. It's a pop of color and it definitely makes you stand out from the crowd. Tweed Jackets By definition, tweed is a more casual garment with a nice texture and rich colors. Because of that, knit ties are the ideal companion because they add a strong texture and just fit in very well in the overall scheme. Casual suit Unlike a worsted cloth which can be pretty much worn year-round, flannel is particularly good during the cold months of the year because it has a fuzzy texture, it's heavier so it makes you warmer, and it's usually made of these mottled tone yarns which means you have a very interesting color depth. Relaxed outfits Maybe you're the kind of guy who doesn't want to wear a jacket but still wants to be more dressy and likes to wear maybe vests, in that case, a knit tie is ideal because it closes the V gap of the shirt and the vest you're wearing and it just ties everything very well together. Sweaters Just bear in mind if you wear ties with a sweater go with a v-neck because they really highlight the tie knot and a crewneck will simply hide it and it looks bad. #knitties #howtowearknitties #notsponsored --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Want to stay updated? Hi, I'm Gayle, designer and owner of Retro Beaux. Retro Beaux (pronounced "retro bows") offers one-of-a-kind women's fashion made from vintage men's accessories- bowties, neckties, cuff-links, buttons, pocket watches, and even historic medals. Styles range from Girlie to Glam, Hippie to Hipster, Tomboy to Trendy, Daywear to Diva. All items are handmade and designed by me, Gayle :) I enjoy rescuing discarded objects from men's wardrobes and honoring them through creative reuse. This nostalgic craft started when my sisters and I became the proud owners of our Dad's old, out-of-style, and sometimes ugly ties. Being the ultimate Daddy's Girl that I am, the ties were re-purposed into high fashion accessories during dress-up play. Today, I value that same sense of playful fashion with my Retro Beaux collection. Each handmade item reflects a perfect balance of past, present and prettiness. Enjoy!

Discover the proper tie length, here: https://gentl.mn/correct-tie-length-explained #tielength #neckties #notsponsored Fancy the accessories I'm wearing? SHOP THE VIDEO: 1. Knit Tie in Solid Red Silk - https://gentl.mn/2mIXgdY 2. Cashmere Wool Grenadine Tie in Dark Blue, Light Blue, Off White Stripe - https://gentl.mn/2m5cd6l 3. Light Lavender Geranium Silk Boutonniere -https://gentl.mn/2mlISFP - Back in the day, ties were purely decorative and served no functional purpose; the only goal of it was to make you look good. - Today, ties have definitely gotten longer but the overall length of the tie is hugely impacted by the balance between your front wide blade and back slim blade. 1. Front blade is as long as the back blade 2. Front blade be much longer than the back blade 3. Back blade much longer than the front Because a tie has a fixed length, this balance really impacts how long your tie will be when it's tied. But it's not all, other factors that affect the length are what knot you choose, what kind of tie you have, does it have a thick interlining? It's very thick if so, it creates a thick knot. For a thinner tie, it creates a thinner knot and therefore the tie is longer. When your tie is overall very short, it provides you a vintage look or in the worst case, it can make you look like a child. So keep that in mind if you like very short ties. So when the wide front blade is much longer than the back blade, chances are that it extends past your waistband and it peeks out underneath of your jacket, that's visually distracting because people look down and the triangular shape of the tie highlights your crotch which is very disadvantageous. Personally, I don't use a keeper but I also prefer to tie my tie so both blades have about the same length. That way, it looks a little more casual, a little more nonchalant and it's a look that I personally enjoy. So should you use a keeper or not? Well, traditionally it was something that was used by people but if you look at elegant men today, they oftentimes want the more sprezzatura feel with their tie and they intentionally do not use that keeper loop in the back. Again, the way you wear your tie is an expression of your individual style and there's absolute no right or wrong. What matters is that you do it consciously and that you can repeat it every single time. Another important element of the tie beside the length is the tie dimple. So what's the proper and correct tie length for you? Personally, I think it's best when the front blade and back blade tips are roughly the same length and just reach the waistband of your pants. Now, think about that for a second, every pair of pants is different, it has a slightly different rise and in combination with every tie being different, there are lots of variations. Some others argue the tips should be slightly longer and reach the buttonhole. Others shorter, some like it longer and past the waistband. I like the waistband idea because that way, the tie does not peek out from underneath your jacket and it focus the viewer's attention to your face because of the V-shape of your jacket and the tie on top. Unfortunately, most ties don't come in a general length and so you actually have to try things out until you find out what works for you and what doesn't. It takes a lot of trial and error and you have to practice but once you know what length your tie is and how long it has to be with a particular knot, it's going to be much easier for you to get the tie length right. So what does that mean for a proper tie length? No one will win this argument because there's no absolute right or wrong, what matters is what you personally like. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Most Popular videos: How to accept a compliment - https://youtu.be/_EKXNmM1PUo 101 things that change when you dress up - https://youtu.be/JyGDd_iYaCI How to tie a Bow Tie - https://youtu.be/2I3cfa0BOOc --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Want to stay updated? Harry Rosen explains how to match shirts and ties with your suit or sports jacket. Transcript: There’s certainly no shortage of shirts and ties to choose from these days, so let’s start with some basics on how to put them together. There are two main details you want to consider when matching shirts with ties: colour and scale of pattern. Start by simply sticking to combinations of tones or colours that are pleasing to the eye. For example, most blue shirts go well with a red, yellow or green tie – something that really pops against a blue background. On the flipside, if you’re looking for a more understated look, a solid light blue shirt with a dark blue tie always looks smart. Matching the scale of the patterns in your shirt and tie is where most guys get tripped up. If you’re starting with a strong striped or checked shirt, try pairing it with a plain, solid tie – something that doesn’t fight with the boldness of the shirt’s pattern. If you have a tie with a really tiny design, say a polka dot, you can probably get away with it as it’s still acting like a plain tie. Another option if you’re wearing a more interestingly patterned shirt is to go with an equally strong pattern in your tie. Matching a bold check or stripe with an attention-grabbing paisley tie, for example. They complement each other because they’re both equally adventurous. Similarly, if you’re wearing a shirt with a really small check, you could pair it with a classic medallion-pattern tie for a sophisticated look that’s not too forward. One thing you want to avoid is matching a striped shirt with a striped tie. Not that it can’t be done but, because stripes tend to dance in front of your eyes, it’s a harder look to pull off. If you want to wear a striped tie, go with a subtle check or solid shirt. If you’re really stuck, try matching your shirt and tie by brand as like brands usually look good together, and don’t be afraid to experiment. Or consider an appointment with a Harry Rosen Clothing Advisor. We’d be happy to work out some killer combinations with you. And be sure to subscribe, share or like us before you go!

Mr. Sampson (owner/lead designer) began QualiTies in his senior year of high school in October of 2010. With great ambition and a positive attitude, Mr. Sampson worked to improve the business and develop the brand during his undergraduate career which he completed in an impressive 2 ½ years. At the young age of 20 years old, Mr. Sampson contributed much of his time and money to the business in order to accomplish his life-long passion as an entrepreneur. He started out selling AirHeads® candy to kids in the 8th grade and has had a love for business ever since. QualiTies was founded on the principles of mentorship and philanthropy. Mr. Sampson saw the need to empower young men to dress for success and found the business as the perfect opportunity to do so. Through collaborations with various non-profit organizations and company programs, QualiTies plans to effectively teach young men about menswear basics as well as teach necessities such as: how to tie a tie, dress appropriately for various occasions, approach an employer, and build resumes. Inspired by menswear enthusiast Fonzworth Bentley, entrepreneur George Zimmer (Men's Wearhouse), and famous designer Ralph Lauren, Mr. Sampson plans to positively impact the lives of young men around the world through his love for fashion, menswear, and passion for helping others.

Andy Rowley -- Budd Shirtmakers Andy Rowley shares key observations to help when purchasing and looking after silk ties. Andy Rowley is the shop manager at Budd Shirtmakers having worked with the company for more than 30 years. He started his career at Beale and Inman, where he worked for two years before joining Budd. Rowley followed his father's footsteps into the industry, who was a successful silk tie wholesaler, producing for many of the St James's retailers between the '30s and '80s. Throughout his thirty years, Rowley has found success using the knowledge he gleaned from his father, the rich heritage of the brand and the traditions of St James's. His aim has always been to keep the brand's legacy alive while expanding and gently bringing it into the modern world.
