LOS ANGELES Top Places to Visit
In this video we show you a few of our favorite places in Los Angeles, California. Our first stop was The Griffith Observatory, which is a very popular place to go take a hike or just take in the spectacular views. Admission is free!! We loved the hike to see the Hollywood sign (it's a work out). You can't get too close to the sign anymore, but you can still get great pictures from a distance. The Hollywood sign is HUGE! Next stop was Skyspace, this was our first time here and we were not disappointed. We recommend going on the fun filled slide, the views are amazing. Fratelli was a great restaurant to have lunch after a day of activities. There food is amazing! We highly recommend this place for breakfast lunch or just to get a drink or two. Next stop was The Los Angeles County Modern Arts (LACMA). The white lamps are a must see! Don't forget to take a pic! The Ivy is another great restaurant especially for Sunday brunch. It has a beautiful decor with its colorful roses all around the restaurant. It is located in Melrose. Beverly Hills is a must stop, eat and shop! It has countless designer stores, many coffee shops and restaurants. The Graystone Mansion is located in Beverly Hills residential. This Mansion have been in numerous movies, tv shows, and music videos. It has spectacular gardens and views of the city. Admission is free!!! We hope you enjoy this video. Thanks for watching! Haunted Theaters of Hollywood / Haunted Places in Los Angeles
A documentary film on some of the most haunted theaters in Hollywood, where ghosts are present. These are the ghost stores based on witnesses. Some of the spooky haunted theaters I talk about are the TCL Chinese Theater, Warner Pacific Theater and the Pantages Theater. These theaters are known to be haunted with ghosts. These are some of the ghost stories of Hollywood. These places are considered to be some of the most Haunted places in Los Angeles, which make it part of the most haunted places in America. If you're a fan of Halloween or spooky places, these are some of the best places to visit and see for yourself. TCL Chinese Theatre is a cinema palace on the historic Hollywood Walk of Fame at 6925 Hollywood Boulevard in Hollywood, California, United States. Originally known (and still commonly referred to) as Grauman's Chinese Theatre, it was renamed Mann's Chinese Theatre in 1973; the name lasted until 2001, after which it reverted to its original name. On January 11, 2013, Chinese electronics manufacturer TCL Corporation purchased the naming rights to the facility, making its official name TCL Chinese Theatre. This resulted in the first affiliation of the Chinese Theatre with an actual Chinese corporation. This is where many famous celebrities got their hand and food prints, such as Marilyn Monroe, Jane Russell, Shirley Temple, Joan Crawford and much more! This is the location of the ghost of Victor Killian and a girl named Annabell. The original Chinese Theatre was commissioned following the success of the nearby Grauman's Egyptian Theatre, which opened in 1922. Built by a partnership headed by Sid Grauman over 18 months starting in January 1926, the theatre opened May 18, 1927, with the premiere of Cecil B. DeMille's film The King of Kings. It has since been home to many premieres, including the 1977 launch of George Lucas' Star Wars, as well as birthday parties, corporate junkets, and three Academy Awards ceremonies. Among the theatre's most distinctive features are the concrete blocks set in the forecourt, which bear the signatures, footprints, and handprints of popular motion picture personalities from the 1920s to the present day. Hollywood Pacific Theatre is a movie theater located at 6433 Hollywood Blvd. in Hollywood, Los Angeles, California, on Hollywood's famous Hollywood Walk of Fame. Originally known as the Warner Bros. Theatre or Warner Hollywood Theatre, the Italianate beaux arts building was designed by architect G. Albert Lansburgh with approximately 2,700 seats. It opened on April 26, 1928, showcasing the studio's early Vitaphone talking film Glorious Betsy, starring Conrad Nagel and Dolores Costello. This is the location of the ghost of Sam Warner. Warner Bros. owned radio station KFWB positioned its radio transmitter towers on top of the building, which remain to this day. Though covered by "PACIFIC" lettering, the original "WARNERS" lettering can still be seen inside each tower. The Hollywood Pantages Theatre, formerly known as RKO Pantages Theatre, is located at Hollywood and Vine (6233 Hollywood Boulevard), in Hollywood. Designed by architect B. Marcus Priteca, it was the last theater built by the vaudeville impresario Alexander Pantages. The palatial Art Deco theater opened on June 4, 1930, as part of the Pantages Theatre Circuit. This is the location of the ghost of Howard Hughes and many others. The Pantages Theatre Circuit had been built on vaudeville, and the new Hollywood theater programmed first-run movies alternating through the day with vaudeville acts for its first two years. But like other theaters during the Great Depression, it was forced to economize and thereafter operated primarily as a movie theater, though live entertainment was presented occasionally. Alexander Pantages sold the Hollywood landmark in 1932 to Fox West Coast Theaters. In 1949, Howard Hughes acquired the Hollywood Pantages for his RKO Theatre Circuit and moved his personal offices to the building's second floor. From 1949 through 1959, the theatre hosted the American motion picture industry's annual Academy Award Ceremonies.[2] It continued to be a major venue for Road show movies into the 1970s. From 1965, it was operated by Pacific Theatres. The Hollywood Pantages closed as a movie theater in January, 1977, and re-opened the following month with Bubbling Brown Sugar, the first of the many stage productions that have since become its regular fare. Now operated by an arm of the Nederlander Organization, the Hollywood Pantages is one of Los Angeles' leading venues for live theater (the five highest-grossing weeks in L.A.'s theatrical history were all shows at the Hollywood Pantages). The theatre has recently presented large-scale Broadway musicals such as Disney's The Lion King, which ran at the theatre for over two years, and hosted the long-running Los Angeles production of the Broadway musical Wicked.

8 Things NOT to Do in Los Angeles
Get more Tips here! www.destinationtips.com #1 Don't Book a Flight to LAX Avoid the crowds at LAX by flying instead to Burbank's Bob Hope Airport. It's far easier to navigate and is less crowded and has a direct rail connection to downtown Los Angeles. #2 Don't get stuck in a queue at Pink's Unless you enjoy tediously long waits and mediocre grub, be like those in the know and track down the nearest food trucks on Twitter. #3 Don't Jaywalk The city is notorious for its jaywalking tickets, and even celebs aren’t impervious to it. Just follow the crosswalk signals and be vigilant. #4 Don't take a Hollywood star home tour Unless you're into well manicured lawns or tall gates, a lot of celebrities don’t even live in Hollywood or Beverly Hills. You're more likely to see a celeb in one of the locally owned restaurants or independent shops. #5 Don't walk to the Hollywood Sign Even after you've made the climb, you won't get within 20 feet of the sign because of security and preservation measures. Instead: See it from further away. One of the best spots to view the sign can be found along Beachwood Canyon Drive. #6 Don't go to the sunset strip during the day During the day, the Sunset Strip is just another line of cafes and shops. It’s after the "sun sets" that it comes alive! #7 Don't bother with Venice Beach Boardwalk Yes it's known mostly for its interesting inhabitants who stroll the boardwalk along Ocean Front Walk but it's also usually very crowded, especially on weekends, where you’ll have to move with the speed of the crowd in order to walk down the Venice Beach Boardwalk. #8 Don't go to Hollywood and Highland" It's like the times square of L.A., and therefore a huge tourist trap! Everyone will try to sell you something on the street, and even Spiderman will ask for money to take a photo with him.

Universal Studios Hollywood in 4K! Los Angeles, California
This is a 4K video of Universal Studios Hollywood in Los Angeles, California. Video captured during the daytime setup of Halloween Horror Nights. Universal Studios is a relatively short drive to Disneyland. Universal Studios is in the northern part of LA, whereas Disneyland is more in the southern part. If you have time to visit both Disneyland and Universal Studios, do it! Although there is much construction in 2018 at the park, you’ll find the live attractions in 2018 are similar. This video was shot in 4K at 30 FPS using an iPhone 8. I also used a stability bar (but no gimbal). In this video, I walk around the park and take the studio backlot tour. It's a quick cut of various attractions you'll find at Universal Studios Hollywood. You'll see glimpses of food areas as well. And a quick clip of animal actors. The best rides and the backlot are here at the park. It’s also right next to Citywalk, here in Los Angeles! Also known as estudios universales in Spanish. Let this walkthrough video guide you.

Find the best hotels here: http://hotels.toplisty.net Los Angeles is a city that's difficult to navigate, especially if you're a tourist. Most people live and play in the cities around Los Angeles, not in downtown L.A. itself. Some of the more famous locales surrounding Los Angeles are Beverly Hills and West Hollywood and there are small beach communities located up and down the coast, like Santa Monica and Manhattan Beach. And, of course, don't forget Anaheim, where Disneyland is located. If you're visiting Los Angeles for your next vacation, it's best if you stay in one of the cities to get more fun out of your trip. Top 7 Places to Eat in Los Angeles | L.A. Travel
Watch more How to Visit Los Angeles videos: http://www.howcast.com/videos/513650-Top-7-Places-to-Eat-in-Los-Angeles-LA-Travel Planning a trip to Los Angeles? Learn about the top seven places to eat and drink in this travel video. One eatery offers both top-rate sushi and an excellent chance at a celebrity sighting! With the influence of so many different cultures and the push of trends encouraging creativity, it’s no wonder Los Angeles has a world-class restaurant scene. You’ll have more choices for high end foodie experiences then you’ll know what to do with. One place to start is The Bazaar, where celebrated chef José Andrés brings Spanish cuisine to new innovative heights. Another LA favorite is Italian cuisine. Try the dishes based on rustic Italian home cooking at Angelini Osteria. Or have a thin-crust pizza at Bottega Louie and finish the meal with one of their pastries. Want something more casual? Visit The Apple Pan -- this diner has been a local favorite since the 40s and it still serves up one of the best burgers in LA – (the hickory burger is the way to go!) Or have a French dip sandwich at Philippe the Original, said to be the oldest restaurant in the city, dating as far back as 1908. Or for some Hollywood history and a martini, visit Musso and Frank Grill. Countless old Hollywood stars like Charlie Chaplin, Gary Cooper, and Marilyn Monroe were once regulars there. For something a little more modern, try Katsuya Hollywood. It’s one of LA’s best known sushi restaurants for good reason, and celebrity sightings aren’t uncommon. From French to burgers to sushi, no matter what food experience you’re after, you can find it in LA.

Best Day Tour of Los Angeles! Venice Beach, Santa Monica, Hollywood
Here is the first of many North America travel vlogs! I had the best day doing a full day tour of Los Angeles. We hit all the main highlights including Venice Beach, Santa Monica Pier, Beverly Hills, Rodeo Drive, The Farmers Market, Hollywood Boulevard, the Hollywood Bowl Overlook and Hollywood Sign. Unfortunately, we didn't get to see the latter two because the weather was so bad! It didn't stop raining all day. Despite that, I still had such a fantastic day. It was a great way for a first-timer like myself to be introduced to some of the very best spots. Check out my blog post review of the tour to see more photos and read all the details: http://www.krystijaims.com/2018/03/we-love-la-tour-best-way-to-see-los.html Tour: http://www.welovelatour.com SUBSCRIBE: https://www.youtube.com/krystijaims COME SAY HI :) Instagram - http://instagram.com/krystijaims Facebook - https://www.facebook.com/krystijaimsblog Twitter - https://twitter.com/randominic Snapchat - KrystiJaims BUSINESS EMAIL: [email protected]

10 Best Things to do in Downtown Los Angeles
10 Fun & Entertaining things to do in Downtown Los Angeles. Downtown LA is home to many attractions and as a tourist you can easily spend a couple of days doing things in Downtown LA. In this video I share my favorite things to do to keep yourself amused. Broad Museum & Disney Concert Hall at the LA Music Center Grammy Museum LA Live LA Arts District - highest density of murals in the city, which you can explore on your own or on any number of tours. Union Station - architectural landmark, with a gorgeous waiting hall and public areas Little Tokyo Chinatown - known as New Chinatown, was developed around the Central Plaza in 1938, just west of Old Chinatown, where Union Station is now. Before the move, this area was LA's Little Italy, and is still home to St. Peter's Italian Church and Casa Italiana Cultural Center. LA's Chinatown is less dense than New York or San Francisco. The shops don't line the streets as thickly, but there are still a few cute stores and plazas through the serpent gateway heading north on Broadway from Cesar Chavez. - The neon pagoda lights and lanterns at Central Plaza make a colorful display at night. Most of the notable landmarks in Chinatown are a few blocks from the Take a Tour of Los Angeles City Hall - Docent-led City Hall Tours are available weekday mornings from 9 am to noon. The last tour usually leaves around 11, but it's not a fixed schedule. If you make a reservation, you're more likely to land on the right hour for a tour, and might even get your parking covered. - You can walk in (through the metal detectors) and explore on your own with the self-guided tour materials available at the information desk on the 3rd Floor. Be sure to take the elevator up to the observation deck on the 27th floor. You have to take the Express Elevator to the 22nd Floor, then another adjacent elevator to the 26th floor. Finally, you walk up one flight through the Mayor Tom Bradley Room and exit onto the Observation Balcony that circles the building. Olvera Street - Olvera Street (Calle Olvera) is a historical district in downtown Los Angeles, and a part of El Pueblo de Los Angeles Historic Monument. It was officially founded in 1781 in Los Angeles, and was renamed to Olvera Street in 1877. Many of the Plaza District's Historic Buildings are on Olvera Street, as well as some of the oldest Los Angeles monuments including the Avila Adobe built in 1818, Pelanconi House built in 1857, and the Sepulveda House built in 1887. The tree-shaded, pedestrian mall marketplace with craft shops, restaurants and roving troubadours is a popular tourist destination. The street has been described as a "Top Five" in the "Great Streets of America" journal.
