Hello Guys, my name is Kate and I’m founder of : http://best-matchmaking.com/ !
It’s not a secret for anyone that Slavic women are known as one of the most beautiful women in the world. All foreigners who have visited Slavic countries confirm that fact. Even using such huge dating sites like Plenty of fish you will come to conclusion that Slavic women are the most bright!
However, beauty is not the only perk of marrying a Slavic woman. So, what are the advantages of having a Slavic woman as a wife? And what kind of concern you should definitely know before you decide to pick up Slavic lady as a bride!
in this video I’m going to present to you Slavic Marriage Guide where we are going to discuss such thigs as :
- Cultural Difference
- Language Barrier. And
1 concern is Cultural Difference
You should realize that your wife is from another edge of the globe. And, naturally, the culture in Slavic countries differs from yours. Sometimes it is a surprise when a bride comes to a country of her husband and everything is totally different for her. You should be patient and understanding. It’s absolutely normal. Each country has its cultural peculiarities and you can’t know them all. You just have to do your best for your wife to make your country to become home for her.
It’s a big stress for anyone to leave everything and everyone you love and move to a foreign country. And your wife does it for you. Now your task is to do everything for your woman to adapt in a new world for her. Don’t leave her alone for too long, make her acquainted with your friends and family, you have to do everything so she could feel safe and comfortable in her new country. Do not forget your woman should have some time to communicate with her family. So take care of her to be in touch with her family. Remember that is important for her. Your Slavic wife must have a chance to see her family at least once a year. She will do everything to make you happy, so do that little favor for her.
2 concern is a Language Barrier.
“The only luxury I know is the luxury of human communication,” wrote Antoine de Saint-Exupery. And language barrier should not become an obstacle for you both to have that luxury. When you both do not speak a common native language, that’s where the language barrier comes in. People might face that problem regardless their level of language. Even if you have studied language, know grammar well, read in the foreign language, when it comes to a real conversation, you can hardly squeeze out a couple of sentences.
How to overcome that language barrier?
Most of people are afraid to make a mistake when talking. Your Slavic woman might also feel that way when talking to you and, moreover, to other people in your country. She doesn’t want to sound ridiculous because of her little knowledge or accent. You should understand the language barrier is nothing more than a psychological factor and the reasons of it are ridiculous. You and your wife should realize you are not taking an exam and you both do not care of your accent or knowledge. Once you realize that, the problem will be easier to solve.
And if you want your wife to come to your country prepared, arrange English courses for her while she is still in her home country. So she could come to your country with certain knowledge and being more confident already. Remember that when people take care and love each other, language barrier is not an obstacle, And you will surely overcome it.
3 concern is Religious differences.
Despite cultural differences in your countries, there are also different religions. And your wife will, most likely, come from Orthodox country. She might not be a religious person, but there are certain traditions connected to Orthodox religion, including religious holidays. She will have to come to a country with another religion, and unknown traditions for her. If she doesn’t feel comfortable with some of them, don’t push her do what she doesn’t like, for example, go to a different church. If possible, try to celebrate both of your traditional holidays, yours and her. If you celebrate Easter, have two Easter holidays, two Christmas, two New Years, etc. Of course, if your wife needs it and it’s important for her. At least she will feel more comfortable during her first months in your country.
You simply have to understand that some traditions are important for her, some days she used to celebrate, too. So try to discuss that with her in advance not to have any misunderstandings in future.
