To learn more about SHBG, please visit: https://www.testosterone.me/importance-sex-hormone-binding-globulin-shbg-healthy-testosterone-levels This video is an in-depth description of Sex Hormone-Binding Globulin and Testosterone and how they react with each other in the human body. Everybody needs both of these molecules in their body but if SHBG levels become too high, it can cause Testosterone levels to be decreased, and sometimes dramatically. If your SHBG levels are elevated, which can be tested via a blood test, this would suggest that your Testosterone deficiency could be due to several factors, including depression, anxiety and/or stress. SHBG also affects both men and women differently -- watch to learn more!

Even a higher percentage of men going into their 30s, are suffering from lower levels of testosterone. The benefits of testosterone include: - More energy and stamina - Increased fat burning capabilities - Improved muscle building potential - A higher s3x drive and performance Optimal testosterone levels A few decades ago, testosterone levels between 500-1500 ng/dL were considered normal. Now the range has dropped to 350-1200 ng/dL. 8 ways on how to boost testosterone naturally for men 1. Consume more healthy fat including cholesterol Healthy fats are the building blocks of boosting testosterone naturally, as the cholesterol can help produce more testosterone. These testosterone boosting healthy fats can include a combination of monounsaturated fat and saturated fat. Foods high in monounsaturated fat include: - Extra virgin olive oil and olives - Nuts and nut butters including: macadamias, pecans, almonds, and cashews - Seeds including: sesame seeds, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, flax seeds, and chia seeds - Avocado oil and avocados Foods high in saturated fat include: - Grass fed beef - Whole eggs - Coconut, coconut oil, coconut butter 2. Reduce the consumption of alcohol Drinking too much alcohol, especially beer, can increase the conversion of testosterone to estrogen. When testosterone levels drop, estrogen levels usually increase. This is not to say you can never drink alcohol, but if you’re struggling with low testosterone, cut back. 3. Increase consumption of the key testosterone boosting vitamins and minerals Important testosterone boosting micronutrients include: - Zinc - Magnesium - Vitamin D3 - Vitamin A - B vitamins - Selenium 4. Have More S3x Yes, the more s3x you have, the more testosterone your body may produce. 5. Get rid of the belly fat by reducing sugar consumption Not only is sugar terrible for creating unwanted belly fat, excessive sugar consumption may also hurt testosterone production. Belly fat may also impact the levels of free testosterone and the s3x hormone binding globulin (SHBG). The SHBG plays a role in determining how much free testosterone is in the body. 6. Improve the quality of your sleep Sleep is essential for many aspects of your health, including the role it plays in boosting testosterone naturally. 7. Reduce exposure to xenoestrogens: Xenoestrogens are chemicals that act as estrogen mimicking hormones in the body. These are often found in: - Plastics and cans containing BPA - Skin care products containing: parabens, sulfates, glycol, and phthalates 8. Follow a properly structured resistance training program Sure any type of exercise is good for the body, but when it comes to boosting testosterone naturally, resistance training, not aerobic cardio, is your best options. Your resistance training program should schedule weight lifting days, as well as, much needed rest and recovery days. The major testosterone boosting compound exercises to focus on include: - Deadlifts - Squats - Presses (including bench press and shoulder press) - Rows - Pull ups - Dips - Swings WANT MORE DAILY TIPS ON HOW TO LIVE LEAN?: ✔ INSTAGRAM: http://www.instagram.com/bradgouthro ✔ INSTAGRAM: http://www.instagram.com/JessicaGouthroFitness ✔ INSTAGRAM: http://www.instagram.com/LiveLeanTV ✔ SNAPCHAT: http://www.snapchat.com/add/bradgouthro ✔ SNAPCHAT: http://www.snapchat.com/add/SnapyJessy ✔ FACEBOOK: http://www.facebook.com/LiveLeanTV ✔ TWITTER: http://www.twitter.com/bradgouthro ✔ TWITTER: http://www.twitter.com/JessiFit ✔ TWITTER: http://www.twitter.com/LiveLeanTV Welcome to Live Lean TV. It’s mainly produced in men by the testicles. Testosterone affects a man’s appearance and libido development. It stimulates sperm production as well as a man’s bed performance. It also helps build muscle and bone mass. Testosterone production typically decreases with age. According to the American Urological Association, about 2 out of 10 men older than 60 years have low testosterone. That increases slightly to 3 out of 10 men in their 70s and 80s. What are the symptoms of low Testosterone? Some advertisements for testosterone replacement products may lead you to believe that simply feeling tired or cranky is a sign of low T. In reality, symptoms tend to be more involved than that. Regardless of your age, low Testosterone symptoms can include: Erectile dysfunction Infertility Rapid hair loss reduced muscle mass Increased body fat Enlarged upper body Sleep disturbances Persistent fatigue Brain fog Depression My Tools: Boya Lavaliere Microphone: https://amzn.to/2u4laSJ Flexible Gorilla Tripod: https://amzn.to/2lWliA9 Shoppee Tripod : https://amzn.to/2lSOGHs For More Educational Videos , Subscribe our Channel : https://goo.gl/TG9GB4

Top 3 Ways To Boost Low Testosterone In Men

03:36
Time doesn't cause low testosterone. It's what happens inside your body over that period of time that cause the decline in testosterone production and lower sperm count. The top 3 reasons for low testosterone in men are: 1. Micronutrient deficiencies 2. Poor gut health 3. Exposure to endocrine disrupting chemicals. In this video I discuss the details behind why these three things cause low testosterone in men. The constant exposure to endocrine disrupting chemicals overloads your liver with toxins and starts to over produce a protein known as SHBG which binds free testosterone in the blood stream, leading to low testosterone. Micronutrient deficiencies cause low T because the vitamins and minerals are the required raw materials that your body needs to produce hormones. Also, your gut health is paramount to your overall health, especially your hormonal health and testosterone production. The bacteria in your gut communicates directly to your brain to produce hormones and poor gut health can lead to low sperm count. How to Boost Free Testosterone with Boron: Thomas DeLauer

08:42
How to Boost Free Testosterone with Boron: Thomas DeLauer- It's less about total testosterone and more about free, USABLE Testosterone! I can teach you more at http://www.ThomasDeLauer.com MY FACEBOOK FAN PAGE (230k Followers) - http://www.facebook.com/thomas.delauer My Recommended Magnesium: http://www.JigsawHealth.com On the Advisory Board For: Sheer Strength Labs - http://www.Sheerstrengthlabs.com Jigsaw Health - http://www.jigsawhealth.com Lactobacillus 456 Research (UCLA) Low testosterone levels occur for many men as they age, and some of us can even experience this problem when we are young. Low testosterone can lead you to feel fatigued, having a low libido and even have trouble gaining muscle. In a study published in the Journal of Trace Elements in Medicine and Biology in 2011, boron supplementation was given to male volunteers and was paired with steroid hormone level measurements, looking at the impact hourly, daily and weekly. After one week of supplementation: -Free testosterone increased -Estrogen levels decreased -Dihydrotestosterone levels increased -Vitamin D levels increased -Decrease in SHBG six hours after supplementation -Inflammation markers decreased Testosterone is useable in the body when it is free. Most testosterone in the body is bound to the sex hormone binding globulin (SHBG). Through the decrease in SHBG it is likely that testosterone is freed into the blood in the useable form. Vitamin D is also positively correlated with testosterone levels, so by increasing vitamin D in plasma testosterone would increase as well. The same researchers conducted a study in 1997 that found boron supplementation at 10 mg/day in men increased both testosterone and estrogen levels after four weeks. In this study, it was found that only 84% of the boron that was taken was found in the urine. This suggests that the remainder was used in the body. This is a high level of bioavailability. Just as in these studies, the studies that have been conducted have found varying effects on estrogen, some showing it decreasing, some increasing, and some showing no effect. Another study published by BioImmersion Inc. in 2006 found that men who supplemented with boron in the form of fructo borate for two weeks experienced increased levels of vitamin D and testosterone levels. -Free testosterone increase of 29.5% -Vitamin D3 increase of 19.6% -Estrogen changes varied with no established trend -DHEA increase of 56% Tips: Minerals are not easily passed out of your body, so you want to be careful not to take too much. You do not want to take too much boron as it may become toxic at greater than 20 mg per day, which is set as the Tolerable Upper Limit (TUL) of boron. One study on male bodybuilders found no increase in testosterone levels when supplementing for 7 weeks with 2.5 mg of boron, so it seems that higher than this may be necessary to see results. Recommended daily supplementation ranges from about 6 mg to 20 mg per day. You can also increase your dietary intake of boron through consuming organic fruits and veggies, including fruits, vegetables, legumes and tubers. References: 1. What is a "Normal" Testosterone Level in Men?

09:26
What is a normal testosterone level in men? ►►Check out my complete blog post here: https://tripleyourt.com/guides/normal-testosterone-levels-men/ Take my FREE quiz: https:/tripleyourt.com/quiz/ Or watch this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=raCoMUKudmc 0:38 The different types of testosterone: There are essentially two types of testosterone. The first is called bioavailable testosterone, which is the type that's available for your body to use. The second is biologically inactive testosterone, which is the type that is attached to SHBG. 3:09 The problem with so-called normal testosterone range: Whether you look online are refer to your lab's medical range, normal testosterone levels in men lie between 200-1200ng/dL. That's a huge range and many men can begin to experience the symptoms of low T even while being within that range. The first time I got my testosterone measured, my level came back at 564 ng/dL. Well within the normal range, but I was still skinny-fat, unmotivated, and lacked a zest for life. This is why I encourage you to strive for optimal testosterone rather than normal. I define optimal as anything above 700 ng/dL. 6:13 How to order a testosterone test without a doctor: If you're in the US check out PrivateMDlabs.com. If you're outside of the US just do a Google search for a lab within your vicinity and call them up to ask about having your testosterone level measured. You can also order a home-test kit from Amazon. The one I recommend is made by EasyWell. The thing with a home test kit, though, is that it will assess your level via a saliva sample, which is not as accurate as with a blood sample. For more on this topic, definitely check out my blog post linked above but overall I highly recommend that you get a reading on your testosterone level. As the great Peter Drucker said "What gets measured gets managed." With an idea of your current testosterone level, you'll also get an idea of where your level needs to be.

How Testosterone Declines in Men (Physiologically, HPTA Axis, etc) HPTA = Hypothalamic Pituitary Gonadal Axis This axis produces circulating steroids important for male sexual function, fertility and development. Prostate and penis are steroid sensitive organs impacted by the regulation of the HPTA. This reproductive axis consists of three parts: 1. Hypothalamus -Produces GnRH (gonadotropin-releasing hormone) 2. Pituitary Gland -GnRH is sent to the pituitary gland where it stimulates the synthesis and release of gonadotropic hormones LH and FSH. 3. Testis -Gonads carry LH to the testis where they stimulate testosterone production through the testicular Leydig cells -Testosterone is produced by conversion of cholesterol -FSH is crucial for spermatogenesis Dihydrotestosterone (DHT) is the activated form of testosterone. 2% of testosterone is free or unbound, with the remainder being bound to SHBG (sex hormone-binding globulin), albumin- and cortisol-binding globulin. Bioavailable testosterone is the testosterone that is not bound to SHBG. Testosterone and DHT act on organs. -Causes development of secondary sexual characteristics -Inhibit secretion of LH and FSH by the pituitary gland, thus stops further testosterone production = negative feedback loop. -There exist androgen receptors in the pituitary and the hypothalamic neurons that bind to testosterone and signal to stop GnRH release Homeostasis is maintained through this loop - once testosterone stops being produced, this inhibited secretion stops and GnRH again causes LH and FSH release to produce further testosterone. As men age, they undergo hormonal level changes: -Testosterone decrease -LH and FSH increase -Other hormones that decrease: T3, insulin, growth hormone/insulin-like growth factor 1, thyroid stimulating hormone -Also an increase in SHBG -Dihydrotestosterone levels are unchanged -Estrogen levels unchanged As men age, the decrease in testosterone paired with the increase in SHBG leads to a decline in free, or bioavailable, testosterone. These hormonal changes start in the 30s and are well established by the 50s. Levels of testosterone vary greatly between men and not all men will be classified as hypogonadal as they age. What causes these hormone changes? 1. Testicular failure due to a decline in Leydig cell mass 2. Hypothalamic-pituitary system, or secondary hypogonadism failure -Believed not to be due to primary hypogonadism (disease of the testes) due to small increase in LH and decrease in responsiveness of LH and FSH to GnRH 3. Change in androgen receptor site sensitivity One can distinguish between those with pituitary disorders or hypothalamic disease by administering GnRH. Those with pituitary disorders will not respond by producing more LH and FSH whereas those with hypothalamic disorders will respond with increased LH and FSH. Numerous studies have shown a positive impact of healthy, dietary fat intake on testosterone levels in men. Cholesterol is tied to the production of sex hormones. Testosterone is created in the Leydig cells when LH triggers the cells to convert cholesterol into testosterone. Cholesterol is the precursor to pregnenolone, which is the precursor of steroid hormones. Pregnenolone is the precursor of progesterone, which is then converted into testosterone (progesterone is also converted into cortisol and aldosterone.) Consume: fatty fish, olive oil, nuts and avocados. References: 1. How was your sex drive back then? Do you get aroused easily? How hard was your erection? Was it spontaneous? And what is the intensity of your orgasm? Was it out-of-this world? If you’re like most men, I am pretty sure your answer would be… “well, as far as sex is concerned, it was the best in my life when I was a 20 year old guy”. Now, I want you to put that thought aside and consider the possibility you can have even better sex than you ever had before… right now, today. “How is that possible?” You asked? Isn’t low sex drive, a weak erection, and a non-fanfare orgasm part and parcel of aging? Something that is usual and inevitable as we grow older? Well, ‘usual’? Yes. But ‘inevitable’? No. You see, the above symptoms (low sex drive, a weak erection, and a non-fanfare orgasm) can be traced back to one root cause. That is… the decline of testosterone production and level. Yes, you can enjoy the benefits of a testosterone boost without all the ugly side effects of exogenous testosterone replacement. Using a rare herb found only in the lush virgin tropical rainforest of Indonesia called Eurycoma Longifolia Jack, you can easily raise your testosterone level to youthful level and enjoy these benefits. Eurycoma Longifolia Jack is the scientific name of the herb. It is more commonly known as Tongkat Ali. It has also been called Longjack or Pasak Bumi. For the sake of simplicity, we will use the name Tongkat Ali throughout. How Tongkat Ali Works Naturally Within Your Body to Boost Your Testosterone to its Youthful Level Let us briefly talk about Exogenous Testosterone Replacement Therapy. The term ‘exogenous’ means ‘coming from external’. In other words, during such therapies, synthetic testosterone is introduced into your body and it starts to acts like your body’s own testosterone. What happens next is your pituitary gland will signal to your Leydig cell and other testosterone synthesizing cell to stop testosterone production. The result: Penile shrinkage and testicular atrophy. The mechanism of action of Tongkat Ali (Eurycoma Longifolia Jack) is the complete opposite. First of all, it is not a synthetic testosterone product. It can’t be since it is a natural herb. What it does instead is… it increases your body’s own testosterone production by stimulating the secretion of Luteinzing Hormones (LH) which in turns stimulates the Leydig cells of your testicles to produce testosterone. Tongkat Ali also raises your body’s levels of free testosterone. A large proportion of the testosterone that circulates in your body is bound by a protein call SHBG (sex hormone binding globulin). Testosterone that is bound to SHBG is considered ineffective. Only free testosterone exerts the effects that are attributed to the hormone: one androgenic (masculinizing and sexualizing, both physiologically and mentally, and thus enhancing libido) and the other anabolic (building tissue, mainly muscle). 💋Why Increasing Your Testosterone Will NOT Fix Your Problems

04:41
How to naturally increase your testosterone, while decreasing negative hormones: 👉http://drsam.co/yt/BalanceHormones Or watch these 5 proven ways to fix premature ejaculation: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=56JiN54B5lU =============================================== 💋Why Increasing Your Testosterone Will NOT Fix Your Problems =============================================== Jasper wrote to me and said: “I’m doing everything right Dr. Sam and my testosterone, libido, erectile problems, belly fat and so forth haven’t improved at all. I’ve taken a few supplements that increase my testosterone levels. Most didn’t do anything and the ones that did, just stopped working after like a week or two. And then I increased the dosage and then things seem to get worse. When I got off of the various “testosterone boosting supplements”, my situation was even WORSE. I was losing hair, my libido was the lowest it’s been ever and I’m tired all day long. What am I doing wrong?... I thought increasing my testosterone will fix these problems but it’s made it worse.” This is a very common situation I hear all the time. The problem is that you can’t ONLY try and increase your testosterone. Your body will quickly adapt by changing around your other hormones, especially if you’re over the age of 30 and certainly in your 40’s a beyond. For example, let’s say some herb or supplement increases your testosterone… soon your body will adapt by increasing SHBG. This will then LOWER your “free testosterone”, which does all the good stuff. The next problem is that the increase in testosterone, will convert more to estrogen and other female hormones such as Prolactin. This will now tell your brain and then your testicles to LOWER testosterone… because as estrogen goes up, testosterone goes down. The next problem is that the extra testosterone also converts to DHT - the balding and prostate hormone. And this, just like estrogen, will LOWER testosterone. Additionally, all of this causes stress to your endocrine system and your stress hormone Cortisol goes up. This does the exact opposite of Testosterone. There are other changes too… but this is phase 1. IF you’re not blocking these other hormones AT THE SAME TIME, the initial increase in your testosterone from the supplement you were taking will be TEMPORARY and will soon, go back down again and now your left with LOWER testosterone but also HIGHER “negative” hormones such as female, DHT, cortisol and so forth. THIS is why you’re having problems. THIS is why most supplement don’t work. They’re poorly designed by someone who has no understanding how of how the human body works. Anyway, I wanted to keep this video short .. just to let everyone know that it’s NOT your fault if you experience these problems. That increasing your testosterone ONLY, will NOT “fix” your problems and will in fact, make them worse in the long run. ======================================== ======================================== Thank you for watching. 8 Testosterone-Lowering Foods That Are Killing Your Manhood

13:53
Your favorite “health” foods might actually be biologically castrating you. And if this is the case, you should turn back now. Stop consuming these foods! Right the ship as soon as possible, or risk sailing straight into the estrogenic glacier of low testosterone misery. Are you consuming any of these foods? I guarantee you, these will surprise you... “Health” Foods That Lower Testosterone Flax Seeds Protein Mint Licorice Vegetable Oils Soy Wine Nuts Flax Seeds Lower Testosterone Flax seeds are terrible for you. Stop eating them. Why? Because they’re extremely rich in lignans. Lignans are highly estrogenic. They also have evidence of reducing testosterone and DHT activity, which is not surprising. In one study, researchers actually used lignans to drive estrogen higher and to purposefully lower testosterone levels - and they showed how brutally effective it really is, by lowering testosterone levels by 70% and free testosterone levels by 89%!! Protein Intake Is Inversely Correlated With Lower Testosterone In studying the manipulation of macronutrients (protein, carbs, and fats) in relation to androgen levels, researchers have found some disturbing - yet logical - correlations, the most important being the inverse correlation between protein consumption and serum testosterone levels. The higher percentage of protein a subject consumed as part of his daily caloric intake, the lower his testosterone levels were. Mint Lowers Testosterone In Men This one always comes as a major shock to people: mint, specifically spearmint and peppermint (the two most common types) have been found to completely obliterate testosterone levels, even in rather normal dosages. One study found that in groups of rats, the subjects that had consumed: 20g/L peppermint tea decreased testosterone by 23% 20g/L spearmint tea decreased testosterone by 51% Massive decreases. How to Boost Testosterone Naturally for Men

01:05
Testosterone is the Man Hormone : http://healthvisiontips.com/ The natural testosterone booster designed for men with low testosterone between 45 and 65+. Testosterone is low when you're a boy. Then 'the change' happens and you go through puberty. That's when you'll first get body hair and your voice gets deep. Each man is different, but testosterone tends to peak between age 30 and 40. After that it tapers off, generally at 10% each decade. That's when you may start noticing these symptoms, which may get worse if you don't do something about them: •Erectile Dysfunction •Lower Sex Drive •Loss of Muscle •Larger Breasts •Thinner Bones Testosterone also regulates your mood and your relationships with others. Low T can lead to depression and feelings of worthlessness. Some evidence suggests low T may lead to osteoporosis as well. Despite what you've heard, men are not immune to bone fractures and loss of bone mass. How to Diagnose Low Testosterone Most testosterone in your blood is bound to a hormone called sex hormone binding gloobulin (SHBG). Testosterone that is NOT bound to SHBG is called 'Free Testosterone', which can lead to sex problems and is even linked to kidney damage. 'Total Testosterone' is as the name implies. It's all testosterone, including free testosterone and that bound by SHBG. Very few natural low T supplements are formulated for the specific low testosterone symptoms men face with age. Feel like a man at any age, whether you're 52 or 87, and lift your overall quality of life and enjoy your relationships with others. Visit website to learn more http://tinyurl.com/gt4uc5t

How stinging nettle increase testosterone, cure erectile dysfunction, hair loss and man boobs

02:40
http://increasetestosterone.review/stinging-nettle-testosterone-benefits/ Stinging nettle is a green herb growing in Europe, Asia and Africa. It is called stinging nettle because its leaves have tiny needles that sting your skin when you touch it. Studies by Medscape have shown that stinging nettle does increase your free testosterone levels. There are two types of testosterone in your body: free and total testosterone. Free testosterone is that which flow freely in your body and is responsible for high libido, sex drive, confidence, a muscular well-built body and focus throughout the day. Total testosterone is free testosterone plus that which is bound by protein albumin and Sex Hormone Binding Globulin (SHBG). Stinging nettle boosts up your testosterone by: 1. Binding with the Sex Hormone Binding Globulin thus freeing up more testosterone in your body. 2. Inhibits the action of enzyme aromatase. Aromatase is an enzyme that converts free testosterone to estrogen. By increasing the level of free testosterone, stinging nettle leaf and root extracts have been found to cure men off erectile dysfunction since this is a condition that occurs when you have low testosterone. At the same time, you get rid of man boobs since again man boobs are caused by low testosterone. You are also able to cure alopecia (loss of hair) since stinging nettle binds with the DHT, a hormone that leads to hair loss. Where can I buy stinging nettle and what is the best dosage to take You can buy stinging nettle on amazon or buy supplements containing the extract such as testogen. [You can see a review of the product here: http://increasetestosterone.review/testogen-testimonial-mans-plight-saggy-body-low-libido-got-groove-back/ Studies by Medscape show that you should take from 10mg of stinging nettle daily so as to boost your testosterone levels. You can take it in your meals or hot beverages. Find more here: http://increasetestosterone.review/stinging-nettle-testosterone-benefits/
Testosterone "Mystery Molecule" 5 : SERMs

06:27
SERMs are"selective estrogen receptor modulators". Most commonly used SERM in male sexual health is Clomophene Citrate (Clomid), mostly used for female fertility. It is used "off label" to treat Low T in men. It treats the most common cause of Low T called Secondary Hypogonadism". About 70% of men have secondary hypogonadism causing their low T. Currently there is no FDA approved drug for treating men with problems within the pituitary producing low signals to activate T synthesis by testes. Primary Low T (testes not functional), is rare but men are treated as if they had testicular failure with many exogenous commercial T prouducts. The bad side efects include : infertility, testicular and penile shrinkage, and others. Clomid "tricks" the piuitary gland into thinking there is not enough estrogen thereby release Luteneizing Hormone (LH) to increase T synthesis by the testes. The evolutionary logic is that when E2 goes down that is bad for preserving the species. The only way to have Estrogens in the body is via conversion of T to E (by aromatization). No T means no E and no reproduction of the species.

Does Boron Actually Boost Testosterone? (EVIDENCE-BASED)

06:27
Is boron actually proven to boost testosterone levels in men? ►►Check out my evidence-based review: https://goo.gl/oRmpbu Or check out my ultimate guide to testosterone boosters: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FSZMwY0ppGU I'm Mo Saleem, and today, I'm going to share with you my evidence based review on boron and whether it is actually proven in scientific research to boost testosterone levels in men. 0:13 What is boron? Boron is a trace mineral that is naturally present in some foods and in the environment as well. Some foods that are rich in boron include almonds, raisins, beans, chickpeas, and avocados but in today's video we're going to focus on the effects of boron supplementation. 0:34 The research on boron and testosterone: I'm gonna go over 3 human trials that observed the effects of boron supplementation on testosterone levels in men and I highly recommend you check out my blog post that goes more in-depth into each of these studies. 0:50 Study #1: Eight healthy male volunteers were given 10mg of boron for 1-week after which their total testosterone level remained unchanged but their free testosterone level elevated by 28% and estrogen was slashed by 39%. 98% of the testosterone produced by your body gets attached to SHBG, which leaves testosterone molecules inert and unable to exert an influence. 2% of testosterone is free testosterone, which is free to exert an influence on your mind and body. 2:15 Study #2: 19 resistance trained men were randomly assigned to ingest either a daily dose of 2.5mg of boron or placebo for 7-weeks. The subjects given boron experienced a 33% increase in total testosterone and 15% increase in free testosterone. 2:53 Study #3: 8 healthy male subjects were given 10mg of boron for 4-weeks after which their total testosterone elevated by 11.49%. Surprisingly, these subjects also experienced a whopping 42% increase in their estrogen levels. 3:31 The research on boron and testosterone: At this stage of the research, the impact of boron on testosterone levels is inconclusive. 2 out of the 3 studies show a positive influence while 1 out of the 3 actually shows a significant increase in estrogen. 4:03 How boron increases free testosterone: There is some research that reveals that supplementing with boron increases the body's absorption of vitamin D and magnesium. Both of these are critical for testosterone and explains the mechanism of action through which boron is able to increase T. 4:33 Other boron benefits for men: Improved bone density, treating arthritis, faster recovery, reduced inflammation, protective against oxidative stress, improved mental cognition, and preventative against cancer. 4:58 Boron dosage for bodybuilding: The minimum effective dose of boron is 2.5mg, but in the studies listed above a 10mg dose seems to be what's most effective. 20mg is the upper limit of the dosage recommendation. 5:11 Boron side-effects: According to WebMD, if you exceed a dose of 20mg of boron some possible side-effects can include skin inflammation and peeling, irritability, tremors, convulsions, weakness, headaches, depression , diarrhea, and vomiting. 5:32 In conclusion: More evidence than not supports the boron's testosterone boosting abilities. With that being said, if testosterone optimization is a priority for you then diet and lifestyle changes should always be given precedent over supplements. Supplements can help speed up results, but diet and lifestyle always come first. If you liked my evidence based review on boron and testosterone, like the video, share it, tell other people about it because I want to help everyone. Of course, subscribe to the page or to the channel and if you have any questions or comments on how to naturally optimize your testosterone levels, leave a comment below with your questions, I'll answer them and give you even more tips. Thank you for watching.

Boron - Boosts Testosterone from Tiny Dosages

04:12
Boron is found in your diet, but it can also be supplemented in small doses to help increase free testosterone levels. It appears Boron can block the protein SHBG which renders much of your free testosterone inert and useless. By inhibiting SHBG, more testosterone is free to roam your blood and exert its plethora of health benefits, including muscle protection and growth, fat burning, and optimal cognitive function. Boron works at stupidly low dosages as well so if the supplement manufacturers are savvy they are going to start putting 5mg into their pills, because they can pack all the other ingredients in anyway. One of the worst enemies for men is high levels of estrogen. Period. In this video I’m going to give you my three foods to avoid at all costs if you’re trying to have the energy to stay focused in the office, and in the gym. And at the end, I’m going to give you a food that you can eat to help GET RID of the extra estrogen When we have high levels of estrogen, it generally means that we have lower levels of testosterone and higher levels of what is called aromatase activity. This aromatase activity is the enzymatic conversion of androsterone and testosterone into estradiol, more commonly known as E2 or estrogen. For what it is worth, high levels of estrogen cause excess belly fat, increased levels of the stress hormone cortisol, and also fatigue and a serious lack of drive and motivation. 1) The first food, is simply put, refined sugar and excess carbohydrates. The simplest way to put it is that when you eat carbohydrates and spike your insulin, you lower an important hormone called Sex hormone binding globulin, this hormone is responsible for binding testosterone and estrogen and when the hormone is too low, it leaves you with too much estrogen floating around in the bloodstream, leading to the myriad of effects. Replace the carbs with healthy fats to stimulate testosterone production rather than killing it off. Fat = Conversion to testosterone, sugar = no binding and more estrogen! 2) The next food to avoid is non-organic dairy products. Now, I am not one that is against dairy; I think that it has it’s place in moderation, but for the person that is trying to be as productive as possible, consuming too much dairy is flat out going to slow you down. But conventional milks and other dairy products have so much in the way of medications it wreaks havoc on the system. Research Bomb – In a study from the Interdisciplinary Graduate School of Medicine and Engineering in Japan it was found that conventional milk contains large amounts of estrogen and progesterone and is shown to suppress gonadotropin, which suppresses testosterone. The solution is to opt for Organic Milk or even goat’s milk when given the opportunity. 3) The last food to avoid is one you’ve probably heard talks about… and that is SOY. Soy contains something called xenoestrogens. Xenoestrogens mimic estrogen in the body, but aren’t real estrogen. This throws off your body and causes you to sometimes produce even more. This happens because we are not consuming true soy. So much of the soy that we eat is genetically modified that it doesn’t have the natural benefits of some of the other potentially healthy soy out there. I work with a lot of clients that are vegetarians and they need a solution for a vegetarian protein powder, in this case I recommend pea protein. 4) Now lastly, as promised I want to give you a way that you can reduce estrogen in your body and help your body get rid of it easier… Cruciferous veggies – things like broccoli and cauliflower… Why? Because they have a component called indole-3-carbinole that is being shown time and time again to reduce levels of estrogen in the body, but they also have levels of sulfur in them which detoxify the body quite well too. So not only do you reduce serum levels of estrogen within the body, but you also help the body eliminate them easier. Since estrogen levels are actually highest at night and lower during the day, it’s most important to eat your big bowl of broccoli before bed. As always, nourish your brain, your body, and your business and I’ll see you in the next video! Del Fabbro E, Garcia JM, Dev R, Hui D, Williams J, Engineer D, Palmer JL, Schover L, Bruera E. Estradiol in Men: Myths and Facts

30:33
Nelson Vergel, author of the book Testosterone: A Man's Guide (Available on Amazon.com) and founder of the men's forum www.ExcelMale.com speaks about the role of estradiol in men and the consequences of over-treating estradiol with anastrozole and other aromatase inhibitors. Testosterone is the precursor hormone for estradiol. Estradiol is a hormone more abundant in women than men that is produced by the aromatization of testosterone in liver, fat and other cells. Nature created it for a reason. It has been shown to be responsible for healthy bone density but its role in men's sex drive, body composition and other variables is source of great debate. Many anti-aging or men's health clinics prescribe anastrozole, a blocker of estradiol production, to men who start testosterone replacement (TRT). Higher estradiol blood levels not only can cause breast tissue growth (gynecomastia) but also water retention (edema). Some people speculate that high estradiol can also lead to erectile dysfunction but no scientific papers have been published on this subject. Since higher testosterone blood levels can originate higher estradiol levels, the belief is that using anastrozole will prevent breast tissue growth and erectile dysfunction by lowering any potential increase in estradiol. However, we have no data on how high is too high when it comes to this hormone in men. Some even speculate that low testosterone-to-estradiol ratios may be more closely correlated to gynecomastia and erectile problems than estradiol alone. The truth about these speculations is starting to emerge but we still do not have enough data to say what the upper value of the optimal range of estradiol really is. We have a lot of evidence about the lower side of the optimal range since it has been found that estradiol blood levels below 10-20 pg/ml can increase bone loss in men. A recently published study also nicely demonstrated that low estradiol can be associated with higher fat mass and lower sexual function in men. So, be very careful when a clinic wants to put you on this drug without first justifying its use. Another concerning fact is that many clinics may be using the wrong estradiol test that may be over-estimating the levels of this hormone in men. An ultrasensitive estradiol test more accurately measures estradiol in men instead of the regular test that costs less. Fortunately, most men on TRT do not develop gynecomastia even without using anastrozole (gynecomastia is common in bodybuilders who may use high doses of testosterone, however). Those that have gynecomastia at TRT doses (100-200 mg of injectable testosterone or 5-10 grams of testosterone gel per day) may be genetically predisposed to having more aromatase activity or have liver dysfunction. Treating all men who start TRT with anastrozole from the start may be counterproductive since this may lower estradiol to very low levels. Some physicians monitor estradiol blood levels after 6-8 weeks of having a man start TRT alone using the ultrasensitive estradiol test to determine if anastrozole use is warranted. Doses range from 0.25 mg per week to some clinics using excessive doses of 1 mg three times per week. After 4-6 weeks on anastrozole its dose can be adjusted to ensure than estradiol is not under 20 pg/ml. Fortunately, many men on TRT do not need anastrozole at all. https://www.excelmale.com/showthread.php?2309-Role-of-Estradiol-in-Men-and-Its-Management For the newest video on the subject: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-dIWx9wnAKc

🤼‍♂️ 3 Proven Ways Stinging Nettle Can Increase Your Testosterone, Libido and Decrease Belly Fat

05:59
My favorite, clinically proven formula for naturally increasing your testosterone and sex drive. 🤜 ►►http://drsam.co/yt/FeelYoungerFormula Or see my recommended product: http://drsam.co/yt/AVSolution You can also watch this video on my channel: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y_z5fqph5YU ======================================= 3 Proven Ways Stinging Nettle Can Increase Your Testosterone, Libido and Decrease Belly Fat ======================================= As you may already know, testosterone is the primary hormone that controls your libido, “drive”, mental happiness, muscle mass, belly fat and an overall improved sense of well-being. Unfortunately, over 95-98% of your “total” testosterone is “bound” to various proteins in your blood. So most of it is “inactive”. Thus, only 5% or less is “free” to travel around your body and work it’s magic. Think of your “total” testosterone as your GROSS income and your “free” testosterone as your NET income -- the money you get to keep after all your expenses and taxes. Of course, you want to increase your testosterone levels. However, what we care mostly about is increasing your “free” testosterone levels, which is what Stinging Nettle Extract can help with. What Is It? Stinging nettle is an herb and gets its name from the fact that its leaves and stems are coated with tiny stinging hairs, which can cause irritation to the skin. (image at http://supplementsinreview.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/05/1024px-Urtica_dioica_hairs.jpg) How Does It Work? Stinging nettle helps optimize your testosterone levels by 3 main actions: Binding with sex hormone-binding globulin (SHBG), freeing up the “bounded” testosterone and thus, increasing your “free” testosterone levels. Inhibiting aromatase, an enzyme which converts testosterone to estrogen. As men get older and the higher your body fat, the more estrogen you have. Which is NOT what you want, because estrogen tells your body to reduce testosterone production. Inhibiting 5a-reductase, an enzyme which converts testosterone to its metabolite dihydrotestosterone (DHT). This is the hormone that causes balding, body hair and enlarged prostate. Similar to estrogen, as DHT goes up, your testosterone comes down. These 3 methods are extremely important for improving your testosterone and keeping it high long-term. This is why Stinging nettle is one of my favorite herbs. Side-Effects & Warnings The problem is most products on the market contain Stinging nettle “root” powder, which is for the most part, dead and inactive. What you care about with herbs is the EXTRACT amount. The higher the extract, the higher the active ingredients, the higher the concentration and thus, the MORE EFFECTIVE it is. Unfortunately, it also costs a lot more. So, don’t use a cheap or inferior products because you won’t get any results or you’ll have to take a much higher dosage and thus, you’re basically wasting time and money. The most effective is about a 95% extract or 50:1 ratio. How To Make It Work Better Research has shown that to make Stinging Nettle work better, you want to “stack” it with other complementary ingredients, which will help Increase testosterone - both total and free. Reduce “adaptation”, so you get better results with lower dosages Prevent “conversions” to negative hormones, so you can KEEP your testosterone high. And to do this, you should take Stinging nettle with synergistic ingredients such as: Fenugreek, Tongkat Ali, Maca, Avena Sativa and Tribulus extract, for optimal testosterone levels. DIM and Selenium to reduce the female hormone, estrogen Vitamin C and Ashwaganda to reduce the stress hormone, cortisol Vitex Agnus to reduce the female hormone, prolactin Zinc to reduce the hair loss and prostate cancer hormone, DHT The special synergy between these correct “stack of ingredients”, creates a much safer and more effective solution. It’s like 1+1+1 = 6 (not 3!) You use less, and you get more. The “stack” saves you money and gives you better, safer results, for a longer amount of time. But don’t worry, you don’t have to go out and get all of these different ingredients. I’ve simplified all of this for you. There’s a link below to a special bonus video about this topic with more details, the exact formula I personally use for boosting testosterone levels, increasing libido, muscle mass and decreasing belly fat. ======================================== Thank you for watching. How to Increase Male Virility Naturally - Male Virility Supplements For further reading please go to https://manlyherb.com Watch related video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lv3oryBJEKE Tongkat Ali is a very interesting and unique herb. It works on several mechanisms involved with hormonal and sexual function. In a nutshell, Tongkat Ali reduces the effects of ageing on the male reproductive system by increasing your body’s free testosterone bioavailability via 4 mechanisms. -Stimulating the secretion of Luteinzing Hormones (LH) which in turn stimulates the Leydig cells of your testicles to produce testosterone. -Reducing the conversion of Testosterone to Estrogen (aromatization), -Decrease in sex hormone binding globulin (SHBG) -Reduction in cortisol, the stress hormone that lowers testosterone -The net result of these 4 effects is an increase in available free testosterone. With ageing testosterone becomes bound to serum globulin and is not available to the cell receptor sites where it is needed to initiate sex-stimulating centers in the brain. The component in the blood that renders free testosterone inactive is called sex hormone binding globulin (SHBG). Excess estrogen can increase the production of SHBG and block testosterone-receptor sites. Estrogen levels of the average 54-year-old man are often higher than those of the average 59-year-old woman. While some estrogen is a necessary hormone for men, too much contributes to a wide range of health, weight gain and libido problems. Due to similarities in chemical structure, high serum levels of estrogen also trick the brain into thinking that enough testosterone is being produced, thereby slowing the natural production of testosterone. For testosterone to produce its positive health enhancing effects, it must be kept in the free form in the bloodstream. Bound testosterone is unable to be picked up by testosterone receptors on cell membranes. For aging men, it is desirable to suppress excess levels of SHBG and estrogen while boosting free testosterone to the level of a young man. Tongkat Ali is a natural way of boosting bioavailable testosterone while also reducing SHBG and estrogen levels in aging men. In studies under the Malaysian National Biotechnology Directorate coordination between research teams from Malaysia and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), the following actions of Tongkat Ali on male health have been stated from their research: -Elevated free testosterone level -Improved erectile strength without side effects -Increase in male fertility, sperm quality, motility and quantity -Natural energizer -Safely and meaningfully boosts androgen levels -Improves strength during exercise and has an anabolic effect on muscle growth -Decrease in sex hormone binding globulin (SHBG) -May promote weight loss -May reduce conversion of testosterone to estrogen (anti-aromatase effect) In summary, these combined effects position Tongkat Ali as perhaps the safest and most effective herbal testosterone enhancing medicinal plant available today. It is particularly suitable for slowing down or reversing the so called male andropause that occurs in middle-age and is of benefit for athletes and bodybuilders looking for a natural supplement without side-effects. Take Dr. Berg's Advanced Evaluation Quiz: http://bit.ly/EvalQuiz Your report will then be sent via email analyzing 104 potential symptoms, giving you a much deeper insight into the cause-effect relationship of your body issues. It's free and very enlightening. Dr. Berg talks about low testosterone and it's symptoms, it's causes and solution. There are things you can do to boost low testosterone (adding zinc, vitamin D, vitamin A and getting better sleep). However, what is even more important is to avoid or lower these 3 things: 1. Insulin (lower this hormone). 2. Estrogen 3. Cortisol Out of these 3 hormones, estrogen is the most common elevated hormone in men. This comes from mostly from consuming commercial chicken and beef because of the soy feed given to these animals. You must get grass-fed animal products because soy is highly estrogenic not to mention being GMO. And adding the GMO corn feed on top of these can really effect your hormones. 3 Foods that Decrease Testosterone & Slow Fat Loss

Use Fasting To Burn Body Fat & Get In Shape: http://go2.sixpackshortcuts.com/SH3sp Click Here to Check Out & Subscribe to Thomas' Channel: http://Bit.ly/ThomasVid 3 Foods that Decrease Testosterone & Slow Fat Loss - Thomas DeLauer Flaxseeds Flax seeds contain extremely high concentrations of a compounds called "lignans" - in fact, flaxseeds are known of having dietary lignan levels 800-fold over that of most other foods Lignans are highly estrogenic, work against the conversion of testosterone to DHT, and they reduce total and free testosterone levels They also suppress the enzyme 5-a reductase, which converts testosterone into its more potent form of dihydrotestosterone (DHT) Lignans work by increasing the levels of SHBG (sex hormone binding globulin), which binds into free-testosterone molecules and renders them “inactive” for the direct use of the androgen receptors A study published in the journal Urology took 25 males and gave them 30 grams of flaxseeds per day for 30 days Researchers found that the average drop in total testosterone was 15% and the average drop in free testosterone was 20% (3) Soy Products There are many controversial topics around soy products, one of them being their effect on testosterone levels One reason soy products may be detrimental to your testosterone levels is because they contain high amounts of phytoestrogens known as isoflavones The different types of isoflavones include genistein, daidzein, and glycitein - these have been shown to activate estrogen receptors while simultaneously down regulate androgen receptor activity Soy is also highly "goitrogenic," meaning that is disrupts the production of thyroid hormones - suppressed thyroid activity is the leading cause of low testosterone in men today Alcohol The metabolism of ethanol lowers the amount of the coenzyme NAD+ (nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide) inside liver and testes NAD+ is essential part of the electron donoring process needed in the production of testosterone and various other androgens, hence why it’s believed that alcohol lowers testosterone in a dose-dependent manner Alcohol consumption causes oxidative damage in the testicular leydig cells and various other bodily tissues, which leads to local reduction of testosterone inside the gonads - also causes destruction of some testosterone molecules already in circulation Chronically high alcohol consumption can significantly increase estrogen levels due to the fact that it boosts the activity of the aromatase enzyme, which works by converting testosterone into estrogen As always, keep it locked in on the channel, and don't forget to: "Like" "Share" & "Subscribe" to SixPackAbs.com I'll see you next time, -Thomas Achieve The Body You Deserve: http://go2.sixpackshortcuts.com/SH3sp P.S. Low testosterone in men and woman

03:36
http://www.ultimateabschallenge.com/ What is testosterone? Testosterone is an anabolic-androgenic steroid hormone which is made in the testes in males and in the ovaries in women (a minimal amount is also made in the adrenal glands). Testosterone has two major functions in the human body. Testosterone is needed to form and maintain the male sex organs and promote secondary male sex characteristics (in both men and women) such as voice deepening and hair growth patterns. This function is related to its androgenic properties. Testosterone is the facilitation of muscle growth as well as bone development and maintenance. This is a result of its anabolic properties. Testosterone production is regulated by hormones released from the brain. The hypothalamus and pituitary gland located in the brain produce hormonal signals that ultimately result in the production of testosterone. The hypothalamus is located just above the brain stem, and among its many functions, it produces gonadotrophin releasing hormone (GRH). GRH travels a short distance to the pituitary gland located in the base of the brain stimulating the gland to release FSH (follicle stimulating hormone) and LH (luteinizing hormone). These hormones travel through the bloodstream to activate the sex organs in both men and women. Subsequently, these hormones also have a role in regulating testosterone levels in the bloodstream. The majority of testosterone circulates in the blood bound to a carrier protein (a hormone is produced in one are of the body and has its effect on another area. Often a carrier protein that assists the hormone travel through the bloodstream). In this case the carrier protein is called "sex hormone binding globulin," or SHBG. When testosterone is being carried by SHBG, it is considered "bound". Bound testosterone does not play an active role in the body; only the unbound or "free" testosterone is able to enter the different cells of the body and exert its androgenic and anabolic effects. Thus, anything that affects the function or the amount of SHBG can also affect the total circulating amount of active testosterone. http://www.ultimateabschallenge.com/

Yusheng Zhu -Testosterone Testing Total, Free, and Bioavailable

To watch this webinar please visit LabRoots at: https://www.labroots.com/ms/webinar/testosterone-testing-total-free-bioavailable Testosterone is a steroid hormone that stimulates development of male secondary sexual characteristics, but it is also synthesized in female at a much lower level. Testosterone circulates in blood system in different forms: bound to sex-hormone binding globulin (SHBG)/albumin and free. Free testosterone and albumin-bound testosterone are collectively known as bioavailable testosterone. Clinically, testosterone test is used for evaluation of men with possible hypogonadism, women with hirsutism, virilization, oligomenorrhea, and possible testosterone deficiency in women. In children, testosterone test is used to evaluate boys with delayed or precocious puberty and infants with ambiguous genitalia or virilization. In addition, it is useful for monitoring testosterone replacement and antiandrogen therapy as well as diagnosis of androgen-secreting tumor. Currently, the commonly used method is automated direct immunochemiluminescent assays because of ease of use, wide availability, and high throughput. The limitations of immunochemiluminescent assays are insufficient sensitivity and specificity as well as substantial inter-method variability. Lately there has been a trend towards switching to liquid chromatography-tandem mass spectrometry (LC-MS/MS) due to its high sensitivity and specificity. Limitation of total testosterone test is that it may not closely reflect the level of androgenism in individuals who have altered amount of SHBG. For those individuals, free or bioavailable testing are recommended. The methods for free testosterone testing include equilibrium dialysis, ultracentrifugation, analog analysis, and calculation based on SHBG. Bioavailable testosterone can be measured after ammonium sulfate precipitation to remove SHBG-bound testosterone or calculated based on serum total testosterone, SHBG, and albumin concentrations. Since multiple methods are available for serum testosterone testing and substantial inter-method variability, U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has established a Laboratory/Manufacturer Hormone Standardization Program to standardize serum total testosterone measurements. Many professional organizations including American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists, Endocrine Society, and Canadian Men’s Health Foundation have published practice guidelines and position statements on appropriate use of testosterone test. It is generally recommended that a reliable total testosterone assay can be used for initial testing for men. If initial values are low, free or bioavailable testosterone should be used for confirmation. Direct immunoassays cannot accurately measure the low serum testosterone levels found in women, children, and hypogonadal men. The Endocrine Society recommends testosterone methods that use extraction and purification prior to measurement. LC-MS/MS methods meet these recommendations. Because of increased sensitivity and specificity, LC-MS/MS has emerged as the method of choice in women, children, and hypogonadal men for testosterone testing.

Ketosis & Testosterone | Low Carb Diet Increases Testosterone: Thomas DeLauer

06:57
Does Ketosis Increase or Decrease Testosterone? Male Optimization Coaching: http://www.ThomasDeLauer.com Ketosis Diet and Testosterone | Low Carb Diet Increases Testosterone: Thomas DeLauer Ketosis is a metabolic state that occurs when dietary carbohydrates are in such low quantities that your body must rely almost exclusively on fatty acid oxidation and ketone metabolism A traditional ketogenic diet sees you reduce carbs to around 5% of total energy intake with a maximum carb limit of 50g per day. This means eliminating starchy vegetables, pasta, rice, sugary drinks and all sweet treats from your diet - results in your body switching from carb burning to fat burning. Ketosis and Testosterone There has been conflicting evidence as to whether or not ketogenic diets reduce or increase testosterone However, it should be noted that many of the diets studied weren’t truly keto, but rather a “lower carb diet” For example, one study found that when carbs were reduced to 30% of total energy intake, testosterone significantly reduced; as did its ratio to cortisol. Keep in mind that keto diets suggest a carb level of as little as 5% This resulted in too little carbs to help with the production of testosterone and too little fats (cholesterol) to help with the production of testosterone (1) Sitting in the grey area of not enough fats nor carbs Cholesterol and Testosterone A ketogenic diet is roughly consists of about 75% fats, which will also be high in cholesterol Cholesterol present in all of your cells, being especially dense in the membrane where it gives your cells the ability to send messages between each other and it can also be found in high amounts inside the brain Your body needs cholesterol to produce its sex hormones. So if you drive your cholesterol down too far, you’ll be lacking in testosterone Testosterone and cholesterol are both classed as steroids because they share a similar ‘steroid ring’ chemical structure – as do all other steroid hormones. Cholesterol is the ‘parent compound’ of all steroid hormones, including T, as it is needed to form all steroid hormones. This makes it a sterol. In order to convert into testosterone, it is converted into pregnenolone by an enzyme called Cytochrome P450. From there it converts into other hormones such as androstenedione, eventually ending up as testosterone. Simply put, cholesterol is a precursor to testosterone (2,3) Case Study The study looked at very low carbohydrate ketogenic diets (VLCKD) relative to a traditional high carbohydrate diet in resistance-trained athletes. 26 college-aged resistance trained men volunteered to participate in the study and were divided into two groups - VLCKD (5 % CHO, 75 % Fat, 20 % Pro) - Traditional western diet (55 % CHO, 25 % fat, 20 % pro). – study lasted 11 weeks Total cholesterol increased slightly in the VLCKD group, while it decreased in the traditional western group. However, this rise was driven by an increase in HDL in the VLCKD group (6.69 mg/dl) compared to the western (-1.6 mg/dl) with no changes in LDL. Total testosterone increased significantly in the VLCKD diet (118 ng/dl) as compared to the western (-36 ng/dl) while insulin increased significantly in the western group (3.7 uIu/ml) compared to the VLCKD (.1 uIu/ml). Concluded that a VLCKD is safe and increases testosterone levels while also increasing insulin sensitivity. Even though the total cholesterol increased in the VLCKD group, their HDL (healthy cholesterol) drove this response. ♂ Can Avena Sativa Really Increase Your Testosterone, Sex Drive & Muscle Size Naturally?

My favorite, scientifically proven solution for quickly boosting your testosterone levels, naturally: ►►http://drsam.co/yt/BoostTestosterone =============================================== Can Avena Sativa Really Increase Your Testosterone, Sex Drive & Muscle Size Naturally? =============================================== In both men AND women, one of the main conditions for having optimal sex drive and desire is to have optimal levels of the hormone, Testosterone. Remember, that both men and women have this hormone, but it's much higher in men. The bad news is that your testosterone starts dropping as early as your mid 20’s By age 40, you’re barely producing 50% of your testosterone… which means1: Lower testosterone Decrease sex drive & libido Smaller & weaker muscles. More belly fat Increase in health problems -- cholesterol, blood pressure, blood sugar, joint pain, memory loss, etc. However, the good news is that you can slow down and quickly REVERSE this naturally, by utilizing the correct form and dosage of Avena Sativa Extract, especially when combined with a few other key herbs and vitamins. And YES, this works for women as well. Avena Sativa is the scientific name for the grass commonly known as oats. It’s been used medicinally since the middle ages. Avena Sativa works in two primary ways. Increase In Free Testosterone As you may already know, testosterone is the primary hormone that controls your libido, “drive”, mental happiness, increase muscle, decrease fat and an overall improved sense of well-being. Unfortunately, over 95% of your “total” testosterone is “bound” to various proteins in your blood. So most of it is “inactive”. Thus, only 5% or less is “free” to travel around your body and work it’s magic. Think of your “total” testosterone as your GROSS income and your “free” testosterone as your NET income. Increase In LH Levels Secondly, it helps increase your LH levels. Luteinizing hormones are released by the pituitary gland and tell the testicles to produce more testosterone. So the end results is higher testosterone with more free testosterone, at the same time! - win/win! Even though Avena Sativa is natural, there are some “warnings” you should know about before using this ingredient. Problem #1 - Use Extract Only Most Avena Sativa on the market is made of dead “root” or “powder” or even “drops”. These forms are cheap and worthless. There’s no active ingredients in it. Which is why it doesn’t work for most people. You want to use only the EXTRACT form, one of the highest and most potent being 100:1, extract to powder ratio. Problem #2 - Your Body Adapts & It Stops Working The second problem I’ve seen over and over again when using only ONE ingredient to achieve a health goal -- such as Avena Sativa in today’s example…. Is that your body will quickly adapt to it. Thus, it stops working after a couple of weeks. Unfortunately, as your body adapts, you have to use a higher dosage in which after a few weeks your body adapts AGAIN and now you have to increase the dosage even more. This gets very expensive and can lead to negative side-effects eventually. However, if you use a “stacking” tactic - which I’ll talk about in a minute, you’ll dramatically reduce the adaptation and improve the effectiveness, WITHOUT having to increase the dosage. Problem #3 - Negative Conversions The final problem is that as you age, your body creates various enzymes which convert testosterone to “negative” hormones, such as estrogen, prolactin, DHT, cortisol, etc. All of these “conversions” DECREASE your positive testosterone and INCREASE these negative hormones. Estrogen makes you fat. Prolactin reduces frequency of erections. DHT causes hair loss and prostate cancer. Cortisol is the stress hormone and directly DECREASES testosterone. And to do this, you should take Avena Sativa with synergistic ingredients such as: Fenugreek, Tongkat Ali, Maca, Stinging Nettle and Tribulus extract, for optimal testosterone levels. DIM and Selenium to reduce the female hormone, estrogen Vitamin C and Ashwaganda to reduce the stress hormone, cortisol Vitex Agnus to reduce the female hormone, prolactin Zinc to reduce the hair loss and prostate cancer hormone, DHT Click here for a proven, 100% natural solution: ►http://drsam.co/yt/BoostTestosterone Or you can watch other videos related to erectile dysfunction: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y_z5fqph5YU https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fGfazrFHi70 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eT8_UoaqTC4 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AbNyVIqZ36s ========= Thank you for watching. TOT & Sex Hormone Binding Globulin, Prostate Cancer & Estrogen Suppression w/Dr. Nick Sakkas

To Get Your FREE Paperback copy of the Amazon Best Selling TRT MANual:(Continental USA Only) http://trtrevolution.com/book There are a lot of physicians who still believe that TRT will exacerbate prostate cancer, and that people on TRT can take AIs. What does research actually tell us about this? Why should you consider optimization? What is the relationship between sex hormone binding globulin and testosterone? On this episode, double board certified physician and PhD candidate, Dr. Nick Sakkas goes deep on these questions and provides insights backed by some interesting recent research. "Testosterone induces cell apoptosis of prostate cancer and inhibits proliferation." -Dr. Nick Sakkas Three Takeaways - You have to understand how SHBG is going to affect the testosterone molecularly before you do TRT. - Undergoing TRT and taking an AI suppresses estrogen and puts you at an extreme risk of developing cardiac hypertrophy and organ damage in the long-term. - On prostate cancer: low testosterone levels are associated with a poor prognosis.   At the start of the show, Dr. Nick shared how he got started, and we talked about sex hormone binding globulin and why its levels will determine the effectiveness of TRT. Next, we talked about a huge misconception people have about prostate cancer and TRT, and what the research really says about it. We also discussed what so many doctors are getting wrong about estrogen with optimization patients, and how you should really consider AIs. Towards the end, we talked about androgens and calcium retention. We also discussed: - Why it’s critical that you do not suppress estrogen - How optimization changes everything - How often a healthy TRT patient should get their arteries checked - Angiotensin blockers   - Why Vitamin K2 supplements will save your heart and brain Hormone replacement will change your life in many ways, including inhibiting the proliferation of prostate cancer. When it comes to TRT, it’s not wise to rush into taking an AI. Wait for both your estrogen and testosterone to stabilize, for between 6 months to a year. It’s also necessary to consider your sex hormone binding globulin. It is the center of all hormonal evaluation, and must be considered before undergoing TRT.
