Javier Savia put your video in there..
Yeah, and the FUCKING title is all wrong as well, because it says LYRICS & CHORDS, NOT lyrics, VOCALS & chords, so...
Is it me or the song has a key change after the line "You live for the fight when it's all that you've got" at 3:24?

It's not you, it does change keys. Originally it's in the key of G, but since it's using Em as the tonal center, you could call it E natural minor, or E-minor Aeolian mode. Most colloquially call it the key of E minor, which is a bit slangy, but correct. It's important to understand, though, because the key change isn't just random. It goes from there to the key of Bb, however the relative minor of Bb is G minor, which is a parallel key to the original key of G. So you could say that it's going from the key of G to the key of Gm, which is a more logical expression of what's happening and therefore easier to remember. Regardless, the main chorus progression goes from: (Key of G) 6 4 5 5 1 4 5 5 to (Key of Bb) 6 4 5 5 1 4 5 5 which is the actual key change you're hearing. The progression is the same, but the chords have been shifted up three half steps. Good ear!

The a minor should be a C

But the bass note should be a C. With an A minor chord... From what I can hear on my shit laptop speakers
Rafael R. (4 months ago)
lol, in a scale yes, not in a chord
No, it's okay like that, because remember that C major is the relative major of A minor
