An Incredible Tool to Help You Practice Your Card Magic

Purchase the pad/mirror - https://shop.52kards.com/products/close-up-pad-3-way-mirror Watch the Product Trailer - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mTserV8iuEE A close up pad is a incredibly useful accessory for tabled card work as the soft surface makes a number of various techniques easier and more reliable. Mirrors are also a tool that I highly recommend students use when practicing to make sure that your angles are right. Now you can get both accessories in one amazing product! Sean Yang's 3 way mirror is not only a mirror, but also a portable close-up mat! It is made of high quality safety mirror which weighs only 240 grams. It is light, thin, easy to carry and most importantly shatterproof. Not only it has all the benefits of the old 3-way mirrors, it is now indestructible and lighter than ever. After being folded, its size becomes as small as an A4 paper, so you can easily carry it in any bag or briefcase. The velvet backing not only looks elegant, but it can also act as a close-up mat. "What a fantastic idea for those of us who love practicing anytime, anywhere. A close-up pad AND practice mirror. Mine is going with me everywhere." - Joshua Jay "This has changed the way I practice; now I can't travel without it. Save 2 for me; one in my office and one in my suitcase" - Andost (Fism champion) ▼ Follow 52Kards Everywhere ------------------------------------------ Website: http://52Kards.com Instagram: http://Instagram.com/52Kards Facebook: http://on.fb.me/52Kards Twitter: http://www.twitter.com/52Kards

gian-luca heigl (2 years ago)
I just wanted to ask, which cards do you normally use to practice or to learn a new trick? And which ones would you recommend?
T3WGaming (2 years ago)
+gian-luca heigl I'm no 52Kards obviously, but I personally recommend Bicycle Standard decks to practice since they're cheap but still high quality. You don't have to worry too much about bending or using them too much, since you can easily replace them.

Ahmed Gioushy (3 years ago)
what is the name of the deck you used?
TheDrB0B (3 years ago)
So I went to my local Home Depot, bought myself 30 square inches of some nice green velvet lining, a little bit of the spruce wood I use for pretty much anything, went home, and in 30 minutes of cutting, sanding, and varnishing I had an incredibly similar close up pad like the one you showed up at the beginning. How much do you think that whole deal cost? I kid you not I made it for less than 15 god damn bucks. You got ripped off mate.
ballsack (2 years ago)
+TheDrB0B dan and dave bruh
TheDrB0B (3 years ago)
The most expensive thing was the power saw and sander, which you can skip with a nice hand saw and sander strips, or just ask for the guys at the very store to cut it to the dimensions you want for an extra 5 bucks. Still not $400 god damn.

XHX (3 years ago)
does the mirror scratch when facing on the surface
TheRussianGenius (3 years ago)
My local magic store has been selling an amazing card mat for little over $25 and it can be bended as much as you like, even rolled into a ball and placed inside your jacket pocket easily, and when it's taken out there'll be no bends or anything.
Luke Day Music (4 months ago)
Vincent Tjandera, glad you found some.
Vincent Tjandera (6 months ago)
I love your videos man but I gotta ask... does it have a mirror tho? :D **Life Rant** I am seriously looking for 3 way mirrors and cheap bicycles decks tho. My country (Indonesia) does not have it's own "decent" playing card factory. I have found playing cards that are basically "plastic-coated carton", has a "made in singapore" written on the side of the tuck case, and is NOT like the common decks for magic (I heard & CHECKED that EVEN Bicycle decks/Standard Decks that are super cheap are basically still similar to any other deck of cards on magic sites like ellusionist. Those cards that when zoomed in, have a grid-like pattern. While my country does NOT have these cards, and instead have super easy to bend cards, easily peeled off when it touches any amount of water.) It sucks. good thing we now have online stores though, I've found shops for deck of cards that are ready to send in packages and NOT imported.

What company makes this pad?
52Kards (3 years ago)
+Leviticus360540 It's produced by Magic Soul and Sean Yang
Googule Sukcs (3 years ago)
Card Pads are expensive. A folder filled with some wrinkly, not completely crumpled tho, paper will work roughly the same. Or use a large mouse pad.
Leviticus360540 (3 years ago)
I like the first pad. I feel when your doing card sleight tutorials like the pass or its variants you should use that three way mirror.

Can you do another tutorial of "the card trick the never happened" again? it was confusing and it doesn't work when I try it.
Harrison Fung (3 years ago)
I basically have a card mat on my couch at home. It cost me a whopping $0 to find it. Should get a real card mat next time... ...because it's $400... ...instead of $0...
thejimyyy (2 years ago)
Harrison Fung you can get a good close up pad for 20$ ....
Chen Boi (3 years ago)
He was talking about the green one at the start
52Kards (3 years ago)
The pad I recommend is only $40, not $400

Jerry Huang (3 years ago)
Wonderful review! I just had a few questions.. Is the padding soft? How long will it last? And lastly, what close up pad without a mirror would u recommend most that's not too expensive? Thanks!!!
52Kards (3 years ago)
+Jerry Huang The padding is hard, but the surface is a nice soft cloth. It will last a long time if you take care of it. I've been using mine a lot ever since I got it and no signs of wear yet. I'll do another review at some point of a non-mirror pad.
Walla (3 years ago)
its hard or spongy ? a spread over the full pad when extended is possible ? or the hinge diffcult an extension ?
Syd The Magician (2 years ago)
+Jeff B Yes, coin effects work really well on the mat.
Jeff B (3 years ago)
+52Kards Is the surface flexible enough to pick up coins, for say a matrix type effect? My most recent closeup pad was disappointing, as coins are very hard to work with.
52Kards (3 years ago)
+wallaguest1 It's a hard pad with a soft surface. Cards will still spread very nicely when the pad is fully extended.
Maxence Lévêque (3 years ago)
What an amazing tool o.o
Yamen Kalahji (3 years ago)
Hey Asad! So this is pretty much the first I'm considering buying something online to be shipped to where I live (Saudi Arabia). I don't have to worry about it reaching safely, right? And how long will it take if I do order it? Thanks and keep up your good work :)
Yamen Kalahji (3 years ago)
+52Kards perfect! As soon as my dad gets back I'll try to convince him to let me buy it, can't wait :)
52Kards (3 years ago)
+Yamen Kalahji Yes, shipping to Saudi Arabia should be smooth. It will likely take a bit over a week to arrive.

Hey asad, thanks for all of your reviews and for the work ur doing at you shop, i was wondering, about the spongeballs you are selling, i am pretty sure they are by Goshmann but he is selling many sizes of spongeballs, what size do you have in stock?
52Kards (3 years ago)
+george pesma You're welcome! Yes, they are Goshman and they are 1.5 Inch Sponge Balls
Illusionist52 (3 years ago)
Yo Asad! This can sound a bit weird, but could you once do a tutorial using that three way mirror? What I mean is that you could put it as it is in this video, and then teach. We could be able to see how it looks from those angles. Great video! :)
Paul Mitchell (2 years ago)
+52Kards please do
52Kards (3 years ago)
+Illusionist52 I plan on it :) And thanks!
Eirikbs10 (3 years ago)
I have a question to you Asad! I bought myself some dragon backs and they are super sticky and clumby... Why is that so? In your Dragon back review they seemed great. Great vid!
Daniel Apolonio (2 years ago)
+zockerhd Do the spring flourish the way Asad teaches it that way they don't clump also just leave them for a few days like don't use them and they'll be fine
Uros Riznic (3 years ago)
+zockerhd because you didnt take a care of cards and because dragon back deck sux so hard. So as all ellusionist cards ! dont buy those terrible cards! EVER
Eirikbs10 (3 years ago)
+52Kards it must be that! Thank you! I think i will get the cards that you are using in this vid! Keep it real Asad 😃!!
52Kards (3 years ago)
+zockerhd It depends on the climate you live in a lot of times. If the cards are exposed to too much moisture then they will start to clump up.

Please do riffle fan tutorial
D&D ™ (3 years ago)
+Can Kayaaslan yeah i know that...i thought he will make one day :(
Can Kayaaslan (3 years ago)
He is not a cardist he is a magician. He probably can't do riffle fan. You can purchase riffle fan with 15+ more original flourishes on Dimitri Arleri's dvd Monument. If you want to learn just the riffle fan all you have to do is place your fingernail on the corner of the deck and then do a dribble on a sleight angle. Just practice
Ben Heirbaut (3 years ago)
is it something i can use for years and years with the proper handling and care or is it pretty fragile and could is brake when you drop it, or inside your backpack?
Ben Heirbaut (3 years ago)
+52Kards thanks. i might consider it soon. if i ever need a close up pad, then my first one will probably this one as it seems very convenient for a very decent price.
52Kards (3 years ago)
+CTN It will last a very long time with proper care and it is shatter proof so your don't need to worry about it breaking. It's very light weight and flexible.

+Tre Minchioni Production SPA Not trying to undercut your sales. I assume that your promoting the lifestyle accessories and not advertising multiple products. One can make their own of everything reviewed.
